Medical marijuana users in other states

OK, so I know I could get medical MJ for my back and fibromyalgia/myofacial pain syndrome, if I went to another state.
Like back home to CA or MA or MI I guess now OR too still???...among others...wherever
Anyway I was wondering about the medical law regarding doctors and recommendations if the patient travels to another state.
If I say went back home momentarily or even some other state and used an addy of a compassionate person who says I live with them and get a Recommendation and card would I be able to smoke while in another state without similar laws if traveling?
Basically I could care less about where I am because Id still smoke wherever...
but doctors in a medical state cant give Recommendatons to non residents right??? or people planning on moving ?

man why cant I just have a appointment with a CA doctor online and print off my card in IA...
Somewhere there has to be a loop hole because I cant see the possibility of me being able to move to a state with medical MJ laws soon but I know in some states eyes I qualify for med use, in another im told to suffer and eat narcotics...

its like the Government is saying heres morphine itll break down into heroin in your liver but we will let you walk around the streets with that in your pocket and keep it in a house with kids but no harmless plants for you...plants are unsafe and going to far...I dont understand...If I accidently dropped a pill and my 18mos old ate it he could get real sick. What would happen if he ate a whole plant,...what would you rather happen in your home. Effing retarded...

Anyone see a loop hole? Guess Ill have to actually move unless people with cards can travel and smoke their medicine...

side note;
isnt allowing some states to make their own laws in a way discrimination to people in other states?
Like some states gun, weed, marriage, consent laws among others allow some "Americans" in certain states to do things some other "Americans" cant do in other states....

for example say in a random southern state the age of consent is 16 and a man 25 can legally do whatever with a 16 year old, but in another state this same man would go to jail for statutory rape under 18...WTF just make a damn law to cover all the land...
This is to me state born discrimination caused stupidity and bad seperation between the Federal laws and States rights...it gives some "Americans" more rights than others IMO depending of geographics, which disgusts me.

Any insights anyone?

I just asked my regular doc for a sign off for my card, cause MT also has MMJ and he said no, so I contact norml and they tell me there is a clinic next week where Doc's will be to sign people up for the card. My problem is that it's an Oregon Doc and my papers say it must be a Montana doc? So I'm not sure on how that would work, but NORML assures me all is fine. So I'm going to the clinic. They did tell me to bring any kind of Medical record I may have to prove the condition. Since I asked my Doc just last week I don't want him to know that I'm going to see another Doc. so I hope there isn't a way he can find out. I think a lot of Doc's are mis informed because it's not a prescription its simply a form they sign that says you have a condition on which MMJ may help. I too have a severe form of fibro

yeah fibro sux...life is hell everyday
so basically your understanding is that it dont matter which state theyre from if the docs are gathered together to give cards you can get one with records ...I doubt i can find a iowa doc in cali or anywhere but iowa and I never asked for a recommendation here because its worthless,,...what would it do in a non medical state?...so like you said what happend if you went somewhere else or your original doc found out. I have the medical records no problem but I am confused because no lawyers can tell me what would happen if I went back to Cali and got a card then returned to Iowa and one day someone caught me smoking...if I bust out my california med card im sure id still go to jail....
this is why I dont like seperate state laws...were the UNITED states not the SEPERATE states with different laws of AMERICA

one law one land...man I just need to move this pain is killing me and morphine just increases the tempo.

Okay so here is the first time I get to say it. There was a THC clinic here in my town today I took my records and saw the doctor and guess what..... I got it! So from my reading of the law is if you get a card yes there are restrictions, like if you go to a state that doesn't have MMJ and you have it with you. you are illegal, but if you have a card and travel to another state with MMj then you are legal. And I will say that here if you don't have a card and are caught growing for personal use and you have your medical records that say you have chronic pain and thats what you use it for it's called affirmative defense. If you travel out of state get the card and go back to your state you are illegal. I know several people today that I talked to all said their own Doctors would not sign off on it. The Doc I talked to said try and use a vaporizer or eat it. Because they don't want you smoking it. Rememeber you are dealing with Pharmacuetical companies that don't want us trying to help ourselves. So now for the frist time i can have 6 plants and 1 ounce legally, they warned me that anything with roots is considered a plant, and to dry a whole plant at a time to prove it was just one plant. Now for another kicker, it's illegal to get seeds, clones, or own a dispensary. So a lot of people went there and got their cards and then where baffled at how they were going to find a caregiver. I guess they thought they could just street buy? I was in your position for many many years and I just did it anyway, The only reason I went legal is because once the law passed the fines and prison time went up for those who don't take advantage of it. So I was a little scared so I did it. The Doctor himself told me that the only people who know are me , him and the health and human services department and I read their statement and if even one of them says a name to anyone they get a month in jail and 1,000 fine. So the info is kept private, even from Law enforcement and my regular doctor. Its patient doctor confidentiality or HIPPA. The thing you sign when you get your opiates. I do my own thing I don't sell I just grow for my use only and I really am the most boring person I know so I'm sure they won't be knocking on my door anytime soon. (knock on wood) it's the hardest thing in the world to do is go tell the government on yourself after so may years of telling no one.
