Medical-marijuana users might want to brush up on their gardening skills. That's because effective

Agreed. Encouraging others to break the law and grow what they wan't isn't good advice. I can't see any judge dropping a case because gb123 said so.

I get the feeling the board isn't moderated very well. Guys like GB and Hippy should't be the primary posters in the medical section, it makes the rest of us look bad.

I'm not against anyone here. I'd just like to see a different approach.
The ignore function works great to get rid of nonsensical ranters like Hippy and GB

is growing illegally your way to challenge?
what do you mean?
not being forced into something we have been allowed to do for ourselves since 2001
and before that illegally of course.
It's all legal but still they try and fuck us into controlling our funds and our meds..
PPPHHHTTT Why should a government control the amount of medication a person needs? That's what doctors are for and our Judges agreed!!!!! :)

Its just our feds and other wanna be rich morons that haven't figured it out quite yet and are trying to do things they shouldn't be allowed to do...simply to try and control something that cannot be controlled...

The government has given everyone who needs medical cannabis the right to grow it.

If your family doc won't sign off for you, find one who will. If you can't find a doc to sign off, your not trying hard enough. Saying you can't find a doctor doesn't cut it. Sometimes it takes a little effort to get what you want.

Carry on telling people to grow illegally though.

and a lot of us are leery of our government and rightfully so I might add. We went through the proper channels for the mmar and look what that got us!!!! The government made us all register so they would have the addresses of sick Canadians on file. Then used this file to disclose private info, threaten us with prosecution if we did not destroy medicine we produced and forced us to purchase from there rich buddies at prices 99% of the people in the mmar could not afford!!!!!! So if you are wondering what the lesser of two evils are( register with the nazis and supply them with your address to do what they will) or take matters into your own hands and make sure your health and wellbeing are taken care of. Just my opinion from my experience of dealing with the mmj government program.

So you think it's acceptable for sick Canadians to be forced to spend months trying to find a doctor who will prescribe a safe natural medicine that we are legally allowed to use? Not everyone lives in a city with an endless supply of doctors to try, so it ain't that easy for some. Funny how it takes no effort at all to get a big jar full of opiates from just about any doctor out there.Hmm. A widespread refusal to sign by doctors is absolutely a barrier to access and will be challenged and won. In the meantime, if you have a need and have legitimately tried but failed to get a doctor to sign, I would put your chances of being charged very slim. I straight up refuse to ask a doctor for permission and I guarantee I'll beat any charge.
