Hey just a proud papa of 3 girls toped them young and I was worried but it seemed to work out ! Any advice when do top the other branches I was thinking when they get a bit bigger ? And it's been awhile when I water them should I water them so much that inget run off ? It' been awhile since my last grow and I know eventual I did water untill there was run off but I don't rememer when I started doing that yesterday I watered close to that amount and the girls drooped a bit so I'm worried about giving them to much at this point I watered last night and now I'm going to wait like 3 days or so a check how wet the soI'm still is ...Any who hopping to put them in the sun come July and let them do the flower thing naturally what do you all think ?

i would wait till they grew up a little before i topped them again, let some of that lower growth stick up into the light.
take pictures in regular light, it's really hard to tell whats going on in blurple light.
they look pretty good, nice and healthy so far.
i water by weight, fill a pot with the dry medium you're using (looks kind of like promix?) and see how heavy it is. you don't want it to be that light, obviously, but a lot closer than you'd think. it's not a good idea to stick stuff in your medium regularly, but until you get the feel of doing it by weight, stick your index finger in past the second knuckle, you want it to just barely feel damp on the end of your finger, dry at the top.
as far as putting them outside, a lot of people try to match their light schedule to the length of day when they plan to put them out, to avoid premature flowering, and stress. i wait till the day is over 14 hours long, and drop down to 15 hours a day, a week before i put them out. worked so far

Thanks for the info people so ya were to I start as far as medium I use foxfarm ocean forest mixed with I part coco I do d the coco keeps the water longer almost like multch but with out the wood ! And far as sticking my finger In I know when they should be watered my question is how much should I water should I water untill runoff happens ? And as far as topping the rest of the plant ya I agree it needs a to be bigger ! Now as far as matching the light thats not going to happen it have a light schedule of 18 0n and 6 off and it turns on at 11pm and off at 5 pm so my plan was to but them out one afternoon while the lights would have been on still and let it ride lol what do you think in the summer here it gets dark around 7 pm and as far as a long veg how long should they normally veg for and I don' plan on getting any bigger containers and making a tree I want to make a big bush instead I think the neighbors might not like a big cannabis tree in my yard even though it would be legal by then I don' want then to be upset with the grow want to keep every one happy and still grow so e primo ! AS far as pics I'll work on some thanks again for the input !

you use as much water as it takes to get about 5-10 % runoff. that should be plenty in soil, to keep salts from building up. usually by the time you notice any runoff, you can quit watering and enough more will run out.
the only problem with dropping a plant from 18/6 to 14ish hours a day is that it can cause premature flowering sometimes. then the plant has to reveg, which takes up a lot of time and resources.

really, drain to waste is a technique for inert media like coco or pro mix.
you don't really have to get run off every time you water soil. i would water till i just saw a little starting to come out of the bottom of the pot, then quit watering. the plant will reabsorb that run off in a little while. you do want to get some run off maybe every 3rd or 4th time you water, just to keep salts from building up, but it's not necessary every time. honestly, it's not necessary every time in coco, you really do it to re-aerate the coco

I'm not sure of your location. But another consideration besides length of day would be soil temperature. Especially if you plan on planting them directly in the ground.
