When will Garland have the balls to indite Trump? His video taped actions on National TV show his criminality. His conduct over the last 30 years shows his disdain for justice. What is the dipshit waiting for?

My guess would be wanting to make sure his team is in place and any actual investigation is not derailed by Trump trolls.

Sand from the winter White House.
I think 2022 will be the turning point for Trump and the republicans, Trump will go to prison and so will a few others. If they appoint an independent special counsel early in 2022 the shit will really hit the fan and a lot of assholes will start freaking out. Even if they win the house, the independent special counsel and grand juries continue on until they are finished and if they have wide scope and powers that could take some time and at a minimum be very expensive for those involved.

I believe the way it works is whoever, state or federal gets Trump first, keeps him, so if NY gets him first he does his time in a NY state prison. There is no pardon possible there, unlike a federal prison and it will be much easier to go after Donald and pile on indictments if he's muzzled doing time in a NY maximum security cell. Once Donald goes down in NY in 2022 the dominos should fall in the federal cases, as everybody runs for the exits squealing for a deal with guilty pleas.

That's how I see the Happy New Year playing out, Garland or an independent special counsel will pile on when Donald goes down and his henchmen and minions are panicking. Jan 6th should bust wide open in 2022 after the congress issues it's report and recommendations with guilty pleas, limited immunity and squeal deals. Having NY put Trump away would be for the best and should give Joe "clean hands". It is gonna be a though battle to keep the house and win more in the senate the democrats need every advantage they can get and I expect all the stops to be pulled out to prevent the GOP from gaining in the house or senate.

Donald could end up forming the MAGA party (Free Donald) and walk his supporters out of the GOP because the congress people and senators wouldn't storm the courthouse in NY when they put him away. When Donald goes down he will be blaming and striking out in all directions and I expect he will hammer the republicans on the way down. He will need more money too and can't have his supporters sending the GOP money, he's already getting most of the small donor money now.

I wonder though, if he's only facing state charges, if he might make a run for it, perhaps Vlad would take him in for PR?

Think about it, Donald will have his own RT show on the internet and a 5th column in America at his command. Donald will be like a ventriloquist dummy with Vlad's arm up his ass working his mouth spewing disinformation and chaos.

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”
― H.L. Mencken, On Politics: A Carnival of Buncombe
How that utter shit-for-brains ever got the WH is what freaks out us outsiders.

I mean, it was sooo damn obvious from start that the guy was just plain fucking stupid.

And he lost both elections ─ but was installed anyway the first time, because of some left-over anachronistic shite from the CW days.

That Mencken quote, BTW, is just over a century old...

What baffles me is that intelligent, notionally benign adults at the top of the party selected that man to run in ‘16. THEY should be charged with insurrection.

people keep saying that...i haven't seen anything that says someone in a state prison can't be pardoned...show me a link plz? i can't seem to find one?

Can the president pardon a state prisoner?

Limitations. Federal pardons issued by the president apply only to federal offenses; they do not apply to civil, state or local offenses. Federal pardons also do not apply to cases of impeachment. Pardons for state crimes are handled by governors or a state pardon board.

the president can't pardon him, but the governor of new york certainly could, and would if they're a republican...?¿

Well... Somebody charge him already! Get this fat ass grifter on the stand and under oath, he'll purger himself!
Charge him with what specific crime? You can charge someone with anything but if you don't get a conviction it's a waste of time.

Everyone keeps saying he should be in prison and I agree. But you need to have your ducks in a row and proof of whatever law he's being charged with breaking written in stone. You don't just charge an ex-President and go to trial like normal.

This lock him up is the same thing trump used at his campaign rallies when talking about Clinton. It makes for a nice sound bite and that's about it. trump will never see a day behind bars anyway so don't get your hopes up.
