Merry x-mas to me

So I went to check on the ladies (hopefully ladies!!!!-- +1 feminized clone among them) and I see that santa brought me a male. HMMMMMMMMM, I was expecting at least 1 or 2 males. So far out of 11 beans that all germed, I kept 8 and as of today they are 29 days from seed. Have been flipped on the 15th and have yet to flower. I know I flipped them soon but it was to show sex and most importantly they are schwag/ditchweed bag seed, so I have no idea what he pheno's are. ----- Obviously very indica---However hey will most certainly be a lot better than their counterpart they were collected from. I just want to be clear------ I don't smoke low quality herb---- these were waste from a party event I had. I found them on the table--hehehe mine now. So basically I just wanted to grow and see what my skill and experience is all worth. I am betting they come out real dank when im thru, if they aren't genitically predisposed to being hermi. Sorry for ranting, im high.

i been growin a long, long time and the best i ever had was from bagseed. just not worth all the time n trouble with all the hermies, imo. cool to show people what the genetics truly offer when grown n cure with love.

I am still keeping the male alive however. I plan to make some raw leaf juice and determin the CBD value to him. Allow to flower and bank the pollen for future use.
I also took 16 clones. 2 ea

Some of the best shit I've gotten was from bagseed from back when I was in Cali.

My train of thought on that, you wouldn't have saved the bean if the smoke wasn't good to start with.

SMH ...... tisk tisk. Now today I found 5 more males and the 2 left are girls. That's a bummer. They have been flipped for 13 days now. Anyone think I should flip them back to 18 and bush them out. 1 feminized clone and 2 fem reg. If I keep them on 12/12 I'm only looking at 3-4oz. That's not enough when I smoke 7-10grams per week.

The most important thing I have learned about making more fems is

#1 keep your light low..... low hrs that is... I run 15 hrs per day until they show sex. Anything above 16 will give more males than fems.

2nd give them a bit of b vitamins, they are really good for plant growth as well as brain function in humans!!

3rd, keep humidity high around 75%,

4th keep temps cool, 65-70... DONT let it get above 75 until they sex out.

I can get close to 8 out of 10 female with these steps!! Try them out with your next run. I have done testing on hundreds of plants with different factors.. Like 100 seeds on 18hr light= 75 males, 25 fems. 100 seeds on 15 hrs light 75 females. same dirt, light, fert, temp and same strain also.

If you keep the perfect environment you will get 75%-80% fems,,,, trust me, I have done yrs of testing these theories.

Another thing I have learned is not to flip for sex.... its much better for the plants to sex due to age than due to lighting, this causes a little extra stress and makes its a bit easier to go male. If you leave the seedlings on 15 hrs untill they show fem or male they will have a much better structure and not get light deprived so early in their life.

Those plants look healthy tho!! just like mine!! I only like males when Im trying to get them.... Out of 290 plants outdoor this past summer.... I only got 1 seed, total bust on this years generation.... fuk!! My only male got trampled by a moose,,,, wtf meese..


I also wanted to add, most commercial grows are done by people who know what the fuk they are doing,you dont see first timers harvesting 100+ pounds do you? That being said, they select high producing strains, big bud strains and also high quality strains. They are in it for the money, and where does the money come from??? A lot of bud the more the merry-er , big buds for weight, and a high quality so they can up the price.

If you come across good mersh with seeds, chances are you will grow some really good, high quality cannabis with big buds. I like to get the best mersh I can find with the biggest buds and start a few and see what I get, there may not be a name with it but 9 times out of 10 is really dank bud, ( the other 1 time is mexican shit weed lol).

#1 and #4 were my mistakes. 2 and 3 were spot on. (also more blue light is prefered for more fems) Also I figured (after of course) I fucked up by flipping for sex. I should have waited 2-3 weeks longer. lol yeah I hear them meese's are a problem, just so many of them considering the geographical location of residents, your in their home, not the other way around.

lol- santa has been a pain in my ass for some time now, I think I need to make a trip to the N.pole and serve some pole to Mrs. Clause. That will show him who's boss!! lmao

i've been working with an old cali green bud from bagseed, prolly the most narcotic, heavy hitter i ever come across. sorry i came off the wrong way in my previous post, wasn't trying to knock tiki. with all due respect....grow on!

Yea "SANTA".... had to spend 700 on my girls daughter this year....... That sure would have looked good right in my room.... need new pots, more lights, co2 tank more types of additives for my soil, need bout 20 lbs of mycos,,,,,,the list will never end. WTF santa where are all the things on my list??

But I love growing a mystery... have to wait 2 months at least to see the first clusters and 4 months to see the end product,,,, its half the fun waiting to see what she does.... big buds, little buds, lemon buds, skunk bud, fat leaves skinny leaves, and most importantly kick your ass stone or sissy whimpy stone... I enjoy the mystery plant!!... I have so many in my room right now, all strains from amsterdam and all labled, but most are still different than what they describe.
