Metal halide vs t5 vs led for mothers for a SOG

What would work best for a mother tent to feed one 3x3 flood table of 30 clones per month?
Which lighting would provide the strongest best clones for this SOG method?
What size tent would you use(going to be a flood table) to feed 30 clones a month ?

dude you need to tell us more . are you trying to keep an mother plant alive or are you cutting these off a mother plant and trying to get them to root ? or are they rooted and already and your trying to get them to grow as fast as possible

I'm trying to decide lighting for my mother tent. Trying to keep around 4 -6 mothers going at a time and be able to produce the best quality cuttings possible for 30 clones each month for a perpetual SOG grow.

I know metal halide will grow really sturdy good stems which is what I think I need for the SOG method. Idk how good t5 grows yet and I have grown some with led and just not sure if it will grow the nice strong bushy mother plants that I need.

Going with a 4x4 tent with a 2x4 flood table inside I think. Just Ned to decide on what lights will be best. Really hoping to hear from other doing the SOG grow method. Making clones and flowering them with zero veg time

For 4-6 mother plants that will get cloned from heavily and often i would say 400w hm light 18/6. That would grow some nice beastly mother plants. 30 plants in a 3x3 sog? Thats either a lor of small plants or a super crowded space. I would think it would be better to do 2-4 plants in a scog would have better yeilds and less crowded. All the types lighting will work and work well but each has its ups and downs. I am suggesting mh due to the very rapid veg growth and for your need to take alot if clones often.
I have done 5 grows with all t5 lighting, the results have been pleasant. T5 ho lighting is a proven performer.

I'm following al b fuct 's method sort of. No veg time, just take clones from moms, and when they are rooted pack 25 - 30 in each 3x3 tray under 12/12 lighting. This will allow me to crop out more times per year.

I'm just nervous these t5 lights won't make the thick side stems on a super branched out mother. I think your right on the mh light. I have a 2x4 flood tray and tray stand and wondering if I should put this in something bigger than a 2x4 tent or not. If I do go with the 2x4 mother tent and 2x4 flood tray, should I get two 150 watt mh fixtures or just one 400.

I am also using led for my flowering plants which is perfect for a spread out canopy of single colas. Will get more bud this way and all nice hard dense nugs :)
