Metal poisoning?

I maintain and culture coral, and I know testerial/ hydroponic plants have similar needs. My question is will a brass pump adaptor cause leaching of copper or tin into the feed water, and if so is it toxic to plant the same way that copper can kill invertebrates?
Are there any simptoms to look for?
It would be a simple fix probably gonna swap it out for a poly fitting anyway.

Good question but we all arn't scientists im guessing if you Google around you can probably find some what of an answer
...Unless i am a scientist that doesn't want to tell you my findings because i feel the need to lesson the population of pot smokers.

ya know that is a good question, espessially if you look around at the brass on some people roofs, like the peaks that is nice and shiney when new, but a few years later it oxidizes and turns that wierd green color.
Dude to solve any problems and headaches later that might arrive from that just use a poly one!
