Miami Mango, Sprayed Bud. Need Thoughts.

hello, i live in south florida and down here we do get sum quality herb BUT most dealers i know go for the cheaper really sweet smelling 'mango' bud. all they call it is mango. it looks really fueg with trichs everywhere dont get me wrong, but ive heard from a friend of mine who grows in miami that its all sprayed bud. Supposivly the growers go to some sort of agriculture store or what not and pick up a mango powder, mix it with water and soak their plants to add weight-smell-appearance of trichs. Now after hearing this i refused to smoke such herb, but with droughts come desperation and i had to give in and snatch some. The high i get from it is noticably different than when i smoke some shit that looks like it's from cali 'also miami grown though' so i was wondering if you guys had known this or if you expereinced the same thing, or even if they do it in your area to your weed. please let me know your thoughts.

I picked up a 8th of some straight mango smelling bud, smoked like a ok kush got it when I moved to 754 from Socal before op was built. what I brought was 10x better tho..

I know of a dispensary in SOCAL that would mist flavors on their cured buds in the 818. So it wouldn't surprise me.

damn man dont wanna say you got the miami mango but it does travel all around lol. i do hope im wrong for the sake of the thousands of people smoking it but if u know a dispensary that did something similar than i have no doubt a miami grower in it only for the $$ would do it not caring what the people are putting in them. id like to know though, since moving down here have you been able to find sum cali quality nug?

I don't know about Miami but I was surprised at the distinct mango odor of mango kush... There seemed nothing suspect or otherwise unusual about it besides the aroma.. I was right-on mango though, to the point one would think it synthetically scented.

ok theres a good point, just from the smell alone you would think its sumthing not natural. ive literally picked up 20 different batched of 'mango' and every damn time its the same smell same look. im pretty sure even a good grower would have trouble with such consitancy as that. am i wrong?

I've had some Papaya smelling weed too in south florida I don't think it was mango kush.

haha I wouldn't mind that all the stuff I found is inconsistent and Schwaggy. no south Florida people I've met in person really know where to get bomb weed. downside is most of it is sativa and for my medical condition need a indica for my constant pain!

Thats unfortunate to hear, florida being such a liberal state i doubt itll happen here even within 5 years. it is on the ballet this year however so VOTE! im myself getting registered. you really just gotta meat the ryte dude, ive had sum legit ass blue dream, sk kush, multiple sours, etc so i know its around. either that or get some buddies from cali to mail you sum fuego. and if that happens i beg you to hit me up for a sesh on sum fine glass lol. just beware the mango

Oh I know its around but I've got a dialed in room now so its the least of concerns.

just waiting to harvest now, then bho I go haha my toro and dome are looking lonely

jeez hadnt thought of that haha you are very lucky. i gotta get outa my parents house before i can start my own big grow. and as for bho thats on a whole nother level lol i love that stuff. too bad the batches i make are filled with butane. have to resort to ordering it offline ;)

I got you on the parents thing, Moved out when I moved from Ca to FL last summer for school and thats why I started growing hahah

i was about to ask what on earth would make you go from cali to florida, i know the environments kinda the same but it seems soo free over there. once i get out im hoping to move over there and start growing. kinda ironic you did the opposite haha
