Micro Grow Kit, Would you buy this?

Hey guys I'm just seeking advice from some RIU members.


I've recently had the idea to start making "Micro Grow kits" For example, Alot of people want to make there own stealth grows and they'll look on eBay, but the shelf/case etc the seller uses doesn't meet the buyers criteria.

In the kit I would include.

-4 2700k Bulbs and 4 6500k bulbs (CFL's 26W)
-8-Outlet Power Strip
-2 12v AC Adapters (To wire PC Fans)
-4 (80mm Case Fans)
-Foxfarm Soil
-Reflective mylar 35" x 25" I would include two big sheets.


I was thinking of marketing this product as $124.99 and free shipping. It may seem pricy but keep in mind you get ALL of the items you would need in one shipment. I understand some people can go to the hydro store or buy it themselves at a much cheaper price. But for the stupid kids who want to grow, this is a good idea.

This isn't an advertisement, I'm simply looking for an overall opinion.

Are you buying your stock retail or wholesale? If your buying at a retail price then your profits will be next to nothing or the Kit will be stupidly priced for what you get. Im sure you may sell one or two a year but if you really want to start selling on Ebay i would suggest you source the products from a wholesaler.

Also why would you include soil but no nutrients? I suggest you include both or neither.

All in all a good idea if done right, good luck!

I am buying my goods from eBay sellers in a quanity of 20. I will save on shipping costs, Also for nutrients I will not include because not everyone uses them keep in mind.
