Mini 2*clu048 + efficiency

I've tried using the forum search, but I probably don't use the right search terms.

Does anyone have any info on clu048 1212 efficiency when driven at different currents?
How do they compare to the old standard LED lamps, the ones with the 3, 5, or 10w chips?

I had a 240W of that old type which died, so I'm building one lamp with 8*clu048 driven at 1A, how will they compare?

And for the main question: Will 2*clu048 at 1A be enough for veg in the ~4.5ft2 space? (~1.6*2.6ft)

So I just realized I didn't post this into LED and can't delete the thread.. Could a mod please move it or delete it?

You'd need about 4 or 5 CLU048 1212 to fill that space when running at 1A each... Think 1 per SQFT

This should give you an idea

Greatly appreciated!

Then I think I will run them at 500mA, since I already have 8 3000K
Hope you meant that for flowering, as I should be able to get through with 2*clu048 @1A for veg - about half the light needed, right?
