Mini Torch question?????

Ok so i have a mini torch that u can put a lighter in, great for smoking bongs but i would like to know which part of the flame gets the hottest?? how far away should i keep it to burn my green at the hottest temp?? I've never used a torch and figured some people on here would have the best advice so i don't burn myself lol Its small 3-4 inches long

I tend to keep the tip of the flame about an inch or a little more away.

i find the part right in front of where the blue flame stops is the hottest

I'm not a fan of torches. I feel like I should be heating up a spoon with them...

But after watching you use one I'm sure I'd be changing my mind.

I recommend keeping a distance as torches are a lot hotter then bics. Blue flame is hotter then orange. Don't burn yourself beautiful!

incidentally, i *have* burned myself on blue flame - **HOLY SHIT DON'T EVER DO THAT**.
worse than generator exhaust pipe. although it still didn't touch caramel sauce for hurtiness.

we have a blow torch that lives in the kitchen and gets trotted out at every excuse kitty can find. what i've found is that stuff starts burning/bubbling *right *before contact with blue - creme brulees, for instance, turn out beautifully when you concentrate the area about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in front of the blue on the surface, which would lead me to believe that that's the hottest area.

and no, as the clutzoid who's sustained multiple 3rd degree burns in both her day and night jobs, i'd say *I*'m the dumb one....

Are you guys not getting high using the ol' flame over bowl method? Lol. Leave it to stoners to try & calculate the perfect flame distance/color for optimum THC consumption. Nice.

lmfao ok mini torches do get u much higher!! i just went to NG cash and carry kinda lke costco but for farmers and amish people, oh i parked next to a horse and buggy the other day, i did take a pic to make sure i was not seeing shit lol, anyways my pantry now looks like a convenient store i should take a pic
