Hey folks i havent posted in a while but i thought id share my experience with Mircale Gro Expand and Gro.

This particular brand of miracle gro is a coco coir based soilless medium with time release nutrients in it, its advertised as expandign to 3x its volume and feeding for up to 6 months

First off it didnt expand to 3x its volume it barely made it to 2.5x its volume, i bought an 18l bag of it and it expanded to fill 4 3 gallon pots about 75% of the way each.

Second the soil did have a nice airy texture and seemed like a good medium to gro in at first, seeds sprouted and did quite well for the first couple weeks after that tho the leaves started showing major problems, when i ph tested the soil it came in at 7.2 which is very high for coco coir growing.

well i think this picture speaks for itself, on the left is my mother plant grown in miracle gro expand and gro for over 2 months, on the right is a clone taken from that same plant that is a little over 1 month old and grown in "CIL triple plus compost with kelp" with a little dolomite lime added to bring up the PH. As you can see the plant grown in the nutrient rich compost is now almost the same size as the mother plant with very healthy lookign green leaves and the mother plant has small tiny leaves most of which are shrivled and deformed. Otherwise these plants were grown in the same tent under the same lights and conditions.

Long Story short Do Not Buy This Product for Cannabis! I ended up trashing all my miracle gro plants and replacign them with clones because they jsut werent healthy enough to be worth flowering. The mother plant i kept was the healthiest of the 4 seeds i planted but i am most liekly going to trash it as well and replace it with a clone grown in CIL soil

I highly recomend CIL triple plus with Kelp as the results are spectacular, it has a very low ph and dosent drain the best so perlite and dolomite lime is needed, i also added some CIL blood and bone meal to make sure there was enough nutrients breakign down int he soil to make it all the way to the end of flowering
