miracle grow soil question

Do those little gnats always come along with miracle grow soil? I've had it happen here before and I saw someone else mention it. Just wondering because I have the rest of my bag in the closet and I don't want to open it one day to see my clothes infested.

I have heard this many times.... but I think it has more to do with distribution bottlenecks where the soil is bagged and sits somewhere for a long time. Perhaps in the back of the store... a warehouse somewhere. Soil like that is pure GOLD to tons of insects.

Bottom line.... it probably leaves Scott's workplace clean, and picks them up out in the environment before sale.

yes if ur goin to use MG i would take it and cook it to kill all the eggs in the soil. if u dont once it starts to warm up all the eggs will hatch and u will have ur hands full of bugs.
only bugs iv gottin from MG is he lil black nats.
