What’s going on everyone hope everything is groovy.

I’ve been itching to just start a journal so here we go.

I run a 4x4 flower room with 500w of @timbergrowlights 200w 1750k , 200w 3000k and 100w of 3500k

I veg in a 3x3 with a timber 200w light 4000k

For the past 7 years I have grown solely in hempy buckets 80/20 perlite to vermiculite.(have a couple organic soil pots going , trying a side by side soon)

I also have a small 2x3 area with an older single RW50 from Area 51 led. In here I just start seedlings and get my clones rooted.

Feeding I keep it simple with my hempy buckets , floranova grow and bloom 1 part. And SM-90 for preventative measures like PM etc.

Feel free to hop along , conversate , offer advice

As for something new for me, I have them in soil, roots organics 707. Right now just in one gallon buckets they were just transplanted from solo cup hempys

Look a lot like my two DDS. With the exception one of them has basically trained itself from sprout. Came out sideways and I let it be, now it’s super short with many tops covering the whole pot.

Your plants are spectacular there Mr Magoo!
Question, one the above plants you have quite a bit of Foxtailing, is that a trait of those strains?
Here is a pic of my current grow, from Big Buddha Cheese Deux, days away from harvest. I have three pheno's but only one of them is Foxtailing and I have read that the Cheese strains are known for that.
I don't have a problem with Foxtailing as they are just covered in trichs. This one pheno is a Cal/Mag hog, started showing deficiency in the 4 the week of flower so I boosted the rate of both CaliMagic and Epsom.
A pic of pheno #2 that is Foxtailing.

Pheno #3, no Foxtailing but you can see the Foxtailing of pheno #2 in the background of this pic also.

Hey there GR good to see you

So many different factors can go into foxtailing, but for the most part I chaulk it up as a genetic trait and usually a sativa learner.

Heat, distance of lights to plants, nutrient issues are also causes of foxtailing but it looks much more extreme when those are the causes and even more spaced out than usual. what you have there I’d say is just genetic.

My grapefruit I’ve had for about a year and a half and I’ve ran her in different conditions and she always maintains that structure . The high backs up the sativa theory also.

The Cackleberry is on its third run and also maintains that structure and has a slight foxtail feeling to it, flowers almost 75 days so deft a sativa leaner

I haven’t had any of my indica or indica dom plants foxtail.

Thanks for contributing, hope I helped out a bit

Chernobyl slymer pheno from TGA subcool coming down today.

Only 51 days of flower I went to the scope and to my surprise about 80/20 cloudy to amber. I find under the cobs I can get some strains to really finish quick.

Frosty as hell with lemon lime scents
