Weather misting, feeding, or just giving ur plants some h2o, ALWAYS ADJUST PH AS NEEDED. Yes u can use light nutes as well, most nutes have reccommendations for that on the back of the bottle. U say u need to mist them soon, why?

A. Why do you need to mist them? Misting plants can cause problems as it causes the plants to look for nutrients through the leaves rather than through the roots.
B. Yes, you can mist them with plain old tap water, distilled water or with nutrients, but it depends totally upon what your goal is. You did not share said goal.
Misting with plain water will leech nutrients from your plants, misting a VERY light nutrient solution on your plants will allow a small amount of nutrients to be absorbed. Use a sticker like 'coco-wet' to help the mist 'stick' to the leaves, and doesn't just bead up and drip off. GL

Just add it to your nutrient solution or add some to your water next time you water. What is the situation of your soil? Do you water too often? I let my soil get almost bone dry before watering. Is your soil sitting on a cold basement floor? Make sure root temps are not too cold 70-75F is ideal. High Acidity can lock out Magnesium. These are all situations in which there should be Mg in the soil but it is locked out for one reason or another. If your water source has a high EC, that could also be a factor.
Add 2 tsp ebsom salts per gallon. If it fixes your problem, it will get better from top to bottom. GL

I am going to see if I can find the article ,but I read that you should mist them once a week to keep them clean. It sead to mist untill water drops from the leafs this will keep them clean and deter pest. I have not had trouble with pest since I have done this. Where before I had those little nats all the time. Works for me so I am going to keep misting.
I only mist with nuts with soil plants not my hydro.
