Mite Control the Organic Way

I am a relative newbie. Spidermites took a toll on my first crop of clones but I managed to contain them with Doktor Doom.

I have been advised to dip clones in a toxic--put your eye and hand gear on--solution before transplanting them. I did this with my first group (see above) and ended up with a large, but controlled in the end, mite breakout.

My questions are:

1. Can I avoid the toxic dip that didn't seem to work anyways or is it not big deal and I am just getting worried about nothing?

2. Thoughts on Doktor Doom?

3. Any insight into more organic pest/mite control strategies would be appreciated.

so nobody has anything else to say?

fuck spider mites i have them and keep them under control with doctor doom.

The doctor doom spray comes with a tab that stays down when you press it until the can is empty(cuz its a fogger)

So what works for me is if i have mites to get one of the smaller doctor doom cans and release it in the room and then cut the button on a bigger one so it only spray when you hold it down and then you use it like a can of spray instead of a total release fogger and that works good because with spider mites they keep coming back and you have to spray like once ever 8 days about and it can get expensive at 15$ a can x4/month so doing it like this can make a single can last a small grow space for like 4 sprayings/1 month
