ok i sprayed my plants 8 weeks into flower, i picked a smaller shaded nugget to smoke with the lady, and when i smoked it, it tasted like shit, like oil soaked from the smc spray. Is my crop ruined? Can i just hose em down with water for the next 2 weeks and dilute it down so it doesnt ruin my crop?

Am i fucked here?

What does your pesticed say for a waiting period from application to harvest? I got mites real bad at the end of my first grow and decided to just harvest early instead of trying to kill the mites and take the chance of the pesticide rotting my nugs or ruining the flavor. Now I spray at the begining of their life then again about three weeks into flowering.

some sprays you shouldnt spray when you are that far into flowering. also when you spray that far into flowering and you smoke right away without letting the insecticide flush, you will taste the insecticide residue (that is what i am assuming you are tasting). also if you hose down, keep in mind you have a far greater chance of mold.
