She died off this past weekend I don't know what happened. I checked my outdoor reveg this past weekend too, and that bitch was a pile of leaves and stems. I am very upset about it all actually, especially considering the outdoor reveg had already grown to twice her original size and that was a month ago.

But as I was looking over the dead one I found 3 seeds, 1 which looks good and mature. I have a little over a half left now so maybe I will find some more beans. Beans from a female who was never laid (virgin mary, right) are almost always female, right? Hopefully I can get another grow off this strain, she sure has done me right so far.

The reason I'm so interested in this challenge
is how much you learn about plants this way.

Yeah it does suck, but I got a seed so I may give her another go soon enough. I think I left too many branches when I chopped and something got infected, only thing I can think, unless I fuCked up transplantiNg...

Well I have 2 seedlings, and one planted in my 16 oz'er. If the bean in the 16 oz'er don't sprout, I am transplanting one of the other 2 into the 16 oz'er. Don't worry, I'm joining, I might not win, but I'm in!! just need to transplant.

Losing a plant sucks, but good to hear you're still in the PCC. I had a set back too. I have to pull clones today to start over.

Well the good news is your both in still.
Looks like my MK is stunted a little bit.
I have 5 seedlings all together so I could pull a switch at the last minute if need be.
I might have used too much lime in my soil it seems to dry kinda hard.

If its hard I might transplant. Riddle has posted something about hard crusty soil being bad stuff

Yeah I could do it easy right now with her tiny little root system. Thanks about to fix her up. Wish me luck.

It did I took it real easy with her and she seems fine. When her roots get 1/4 inch longer she'll be through the old soil.

How far along are you with the peltier?
Did you find your light leak or did you move out for some other reason?
Bummer about the 2 plants going tits up, but you are right in thinking that those beans will be fems. Maybe every cloud does have a silver lining. Good luck bro.

The PCC is a party cup (16oz cup) competition, it is on another site but I will send you and invite!!
Yes sir, had to move out of my hot garage, I think that's what killed one of the reveg's.
The peltier did not work, but I think that is because of my hot ambient temps, like 90+ in my garage during the day!
I never did find a light leak, I used my video recorder and recorded with the doors shut and light all around, and couldn't find anything.
I was told that the long flower was because that strain had a lot of sativa in it. I'm not sure, but am looking forward to my second chance with the beans!
I will post up a pic of my pc here or on your thread later, I even got a 100watt CMH gonna put in it!!

When do you plan on having the cmh up n running gumball?

hopefully this week. i had to do a couple mods to make it fit, and didnt have time to actually mount it this weekend. i may work on it tonight, or tomorrow. I really dont want to do shit but eat and relax tonight to be honest! it sucks when there is a 13 year old walking aroud the house and I have to fit in time to mess with it around her being here. oh well, thats life. shes gone all week so I should get it in with some pics. here are a few pics of the pc case and the couple seedlings

edit, the peltier will not cool an entire grow space. but if you have a small cooltube, or a smaller area of space which if it were cooled the whole area would benefit, and could integrate the peltier into it, then you may could benefit from it. but they pull some serious watts!! so the cost to savings may not be worth it.

Sorry the peltier didn't really pay out but props for putting your money where you mouth is and doing the practical research for us all. Saved me some money for sure.
I'm not ready to start a party cup grow just yet but I'm formulating some plans for a mini clone room, probably in a beer can, so I think I'll be doing something along the lines of party cup grows once I get that up and running. Having seen what SICC and others can do in them I have had to eat my words and seriously consider them as an option.

Thanks v12! I will definitely update you on the case light combo, after all your the inspiration and proof of concept that led me down the path, I thank you. Your right about the party cups, they do hold promise. I know you can't stand the guy, but tom_420 is at the other site. he set up a dripper system for his party cup. Cool idea is all.

I thought of taking a camel back, the bladders in a back pack that you fill with drinking water, and laying the tube in the plant. Its a slow dripper if the mouth piece is lower than the water level. I just can't think of a way to put it in the case without creating an electrical hazard!!
