lol Thanks, I was going to crop my grubby nails out but thought "fuck it, I aint proud" besides
it makes me look more like a gardener, ha ha ha.
I have discovered more bud rot, this time its on my Armageddon, it was in full bud when my fans went down so I am hoping that
was the cause. I had been checking it but its hard to spot until damage has been done.
I have managed to take some pics this time, I took them before and after I cut the rotten bud away.
I havent looked at them yet but hopefully a couple will have come out.
I got my camera going again but its very temperamental so I am waiting till I have more pics before I upload them.
Maybe in the next couple of days.

Its not so bad, the stuff I have cut out will get used for hash so there is a silver lining.
Also I have been playing around with my set-up and I reckon I might have increased my airflow and
extraction to maximum effect now. It should help to control the temps too.
It was working perfectly today.
I have the added bonus of extracting the air through my drying space so no longer need to run a fan in there.
Hopefully things are looking up.
I will try to post some pics later.

This is the culprit.
Once I'd broken it open you could see the damage easier. It was just the dead leaf that made me look closer.
This is what to look for, its not easy to spot from outside without gently pulling the buds apart to see between them.
Just demonstrating how much was cut out.
Recognise anything Mr West???
I only had to cut out a few grams. It's all gone in the pot for making hash so it no loss really.

Yes it is a really nice smoke, its the smoothest smoke that Ive ever grown, the taste is just like a mild skunky taste, the yield was a bit disappointing but I much prefer 30 grams of this than 50 grams of something harsher or not as strong.
The buzz is really nice, its strong but gives you a slight lift to counter the drowsiness (if that makes sense) not a sniff of a headache that some strains of strong bud will give you.
I dont think I would grow it again though, I prefer white widow, its very similar but smells, and tastes better and stronger and I prefer the bud, mind you, if I have to buy the seeds again I paid £5 for 12 armageddon and £98 for 10 fem Widows, they bloodywell should be better for that difference.

Man oh man its one thing after the other. Now my G13 is herming and big time too. I have found about 10 flowers on it today, by which I mean, the banana shaped yeelow pollen sacks.
I have taken a few pics, and just have to hope they have come out. I will upload them soon as I need to get advice on it.
Do you think I can get away with watching it closely and just taking off the flowers when they appear or should I get it out of there.
I have too many plants early in flower to have pollen blowing around my flower room pollenating everything.
I dont want a bag full of seed for christmas.

fukin el barkin thats a huge cola no wonder u want that to go all the way. Thats the prob with fem seeds, they have that hermi tendancy. I doubt thoses could polinate all the buds lol snip em out and u might get away with it. U certainly dont want ya plant to use any energy making seeds and sacks lol. Super looking bud porn even if its a lady boy lol

It had to come down. I was worried that it was going to turn to seed and/or pollenate my widow. She will be ready in about 10 days.
The G13 has been flowering for 7 weeks which is longer than I thought so it might smoke OK but Im thinking it will go towards making some hash.
The cola was 23 inches, I measured it and took some pics, I will upload them in a few days.

Gutted this one didnt go full term, I cut a preveiw from my widow a couple of days ago and tries it last night, oh man, it's in a different league, I remember why my last one didnt last very long now, it tastes so good you would smoke it all day just for the flavour, the trouble is, 1 good hit can sit you on your arse for a few hours.

I got about 50 seeds off my first Widow, I germed some a couple of weeks ago and have 8 little seedlings so far, the original plant was from a fem seed so fingers crossed I will get a good return of females from this lot, anything over 50% and I will be happy.
I am also going to take 6 clones from my last G13 before it goes into flower.
I am trying a new set up for my clones this time. I have had good success with clones but Im hoping my new box will get them to root quicker.

Its a week or two old, I have 8 sprouted now.
I also have 2 flowering and 2 vegging which will be going into flower soon.
Im waiting for a friend who is growing some cheese, I might get some cuttings if I like it.
He says its a great strain and has a good yield too, I may have to improve my filter
if I grow just widows and cheese. Nice to smoke but real stinky to grow.

Im aspiring towards something like your last crop.
I think you need a bit of luck to get cola's that size, unless you are FDD2blk that. guy has some awesome grows.
Im having another crack at an outdoor grow next year too.
I did one this year, I got an end product but it wasn't the calibre or quality that I wanted.
