Sup hombre's and She-hombre's, hope everyone's doing welll !

My first grow didn't go great but I got awesome experience at learning how to kill and severely damage my plants. 1 is in flower right now and for the last few weeks I've been scrunching up dead leaves and mixing them into the top soil thinking it would add something to it (Now I think of it they would have fallen off due to all the nutes being sucked out of them so probably not).

Only problem I'm having is I was getting some mold on the top of the soil and it seemed to be growing on/close to dead bits of leaf. I'm not 100% sure it had relation to the leaves so I'm wondering if this is pointless and or harmfull, or if others do it ?

BTW, how do you think this plant is doing ?

CHEERS :D !

if growing indoors best to keep outdoor stuff in the outdoors, like kitchen stuff in the kitchen.
nutes sucked out of leaves makes them useless? nah. composted leaves are powerful feeders, but not for your indoors, and those are not composted, only dry, with pest eggs waiting for an indoor season maybe, and mold spores from outdoors ready to pounce buds at the first hiccup. have fun

Hmm okay, so if I ever start a composting shindig it would be perfect to chuck in there ? No evidence is what I'm really looking for so that works well ! Cheers Chem :)

Yeah it will compost well, but don't bring compost inside. Too many bugs, egg, and mold spores like mentioned above.
You could heat treat the soil to kill all that off, but i would think that would kill micro bacteria too

Cool Beanz, can go straight into the outside plants ! Thanks :) BTW...how do you think the buds/plant be looking ? Not sure if all that brown is normal for this early on, heaps of crystals though :)

Looks colorful lol, those purple pistils are interesting. I have heard of that with diffrent genetics. Those leafs don't look too healthy though, but as long as it's not spreading quick you should be ok. How long into flower is it?

Ahaha yeah, the purple/brown came from feeding it nutes like 5 waterings in a row when its supposed to be 2-3 clean, 1 nute feed :) Still trying to dial it in ahaha, been in flower about 3 weeks or so.

Main thing I wanted to know aswell is do buds normally fatten up ? They look pre small right now, but white pistils are still growing out.
