Mixing Soils too much work

Hope your getting %100 for your service.

Don't have anymore epsoma, which goes faster than one thinks mixing all the time.

What do you think of the liquid fish and kelp
With some crush lobster shells?

I steam lobsters every week for the wife and kids.
Thank you.

I don't like liquid fish. It stinks and draws critters outdoors. I wouldn't use it indoors. I don't k ow about fresh crab or lobster meal.

I know you said keep this in the right direction but my honest advice is to use a simple dry fert like garden tone or something like down to earth all purpose. The down to earth contains all the popular meals in one box.

For kelp I would use dry.

I mean if I didn't want to build a soil I would simply use bottles.

Sticking with just two inputs will lead to eventual defeciency in something. You are shooting for balanced macro and micro nutrients.

Organics in a container is half assing it.
Now it sounds like your confused. So you been on these forums so long you actually believe your doing organics wrong if you control the organic material vs water only?
No wonder you only have 47 total likes! You are the confused one

Yea whytebb suggested this. It sounds great. However have used the slow realease in the last mix. I wanted to use what I have and honestly it has the same shit in it as the tomato tone. I really don't want to buy another pallet of it when I can just use what I have but I'm I think you and whytebb have me convinced it will work.
How much plan on growing?

I mean a 8 pound bag of garden or tomato tone last me forever and I grow in 5 gallon containers. You don't mix it. You top feed it.

You are getting upset because people are telling you the truth. You need a balance.

If you have tomato tone use it.

Organics in containers is not half assing it. How can you plant in the ground inside?

All the work is done in the top few inches of soil anyways.

Its not hard. I'm a disabled vet with a bad back. Mix it in smaller batches. A couple Rubbermaid totes or small kiddy pools work great.

Get your base and amendments and mix a few gallons at a time.

Organic soils get better with time. Water only soil is a bit more work upfront but less in the long run.

I've run a promix style soil with just espoma garden tone.

Get a dry organic fert and top feed.
I like to lay down a heavy duty tarp on the driveway, add all ingredients, then push it around with a rake (teeth up).
Every once in a while, lift the sides to get it back into the center, then repeat.

I took a 55 gallon drum and mounted 3 2x4's on the inside with nails partially beat in. Like 3 rakes. I added my stuff and would roll it around.

Renting a concrete mixer works also.

can't keep up with it mixing so much heavy soils. Back doesn't match the heart.

Would just plain peat with lime, perlite, and marine life shells do the trick with a good liquid fish fert with a kelp fert out the bottle? Can water in benes.

Thanks
Better off with a no till base of vermi compost / leaf mould aerated with biochar or pumice.. vs peat lime and perlite. then just top dress with kelp and neem meals .. cover with DE rocks. that way your bene's would be there the whole time and require less manipulating / ushering..

water with fresh raw organic coco, aloe, chamomile, seaweed dilutes, foliar with Mg S etc when need you want a boost or trigger

No mixing needed. 75% less ingredients.

If you were to mix, maybe try using a 30 gal barrel that can roll or a tarp like these guys suggest, you can also have screens at the bottom of the worm farm and compost so everything is self harvesting and falls out when ready

Promix, done.
top dresss some worm castings/kelp and whatever else you want.
make worm casting and/or manure type teas for true NPK value not just microbes, and water in.
done.

repeat tea every about 2weeks.
done.

Lets get this straight I'm in no way upset. I simply didn't ask what's a soil mix and I am very to the point on what I'm saying.
While we are on the subject of what people are telling me you stated an imbalance would occur from 2 inputs and then reference tomato tone. Thing about this is as I already said on page 1. The same exact things in tomato are in only these "2 inputs" it's the whole entire point of getting a complete nutrient in a bottle. No real need, to have 15 different ingredients from 15 different places if 1 -2 has all that is needed. If I where upset at anything it's mis information. Or unqualified people on the forum. I have reached out to folk who are but apparently they are no longer here which I understand at this point. Also epsoma has advised on transplant you mix in soil then later top dress when I ordered a pallet from them not long ago. This is what I'm saying about information. So if you thought I was mad read this carefully and then tell me more about what people are telling me.

You see what I'm saying? Nobody reads

Organics in containers is not half assing it.
It's the biggest half assed of anything if I ever seen. You take a plant out of nature and you think your doing full on organics Because you breed a half of a % of the micro life that it would receive outside and have to feed syrup, robbing it from natures nitrogen fixers, hidden from the nitrates from from rain give a good dose of chloramine, fluoride a bit of lead and top it off with just a touch of legal limit arsenic from your tap water and we are all organic. Okay. Sure.

How can you plant in the ground inside?
Oooooh my god. Even that kid I argued with here probably thinks your an idiot at this point.

You didn't mention the tomato tone. You later mentioned it.

I don't really care what you do. On the one hand you say you can't mix soil and your whole family couldn't mix enough. I mean if you are growing that big a patch how's you back going to hold up tending to it.

Take your ball and go home. I could care less. Keep asking the same question over and over until someone agrees with you.

Personally I wouldn't grow that way. If I were I would just use bottled products.

And no crab and lobster doesn't have the same stuff as any of the tone products.

Have a good one. You won't listen to anything other than what you want to hear.

You have know idea what you are talking about so its hard for us to follow.

Once again. NO. Crab by itself is not the same as tomato or garden tone.

I dont use tap water. I collect rain water. I grow organic in containers because I don't have dirt floors in my house.

I can't grow outside because its illegal. Well I do but its guerilla style.
