I wonder if they just need more of something.
Mine really started to crinkle after a strong dose of kelp/Alfalfa tea.
It looks like they want to grow but something is holding them back.

As an experiment I may hit one of them with a strong dose of synthetics to see what happens.
I bet 1,000 ppm of Mills A-B would get their attention. It's got balanced cal mag & micros. (3-4-4)

I suspected potassium.
A strong dose of kelp will cause it according to the book tlo.
Plus mine had purple petiole.

But being organic they eventually lost the purpling and caught up.

On my two phenos that exoressed the wrinkly leaf side branching and growing in general was slower than tge non wrinkled phenos.

But they have exploded and caught up.
In fact they are almost too stretchy.

Just for perspective.
I have grown constantly for years and have never seen a more fucked up plant.

Mixing can be spread out, not just hurried through which makes it easier to tolerate for those among us with physical issues. Mixing reasonably dry components and then watering the finished mix requires less stress on joints and back etc. Gravel and sand add weight FAST.

Things blend better dry because there's less clumping.
I always add screened calcined clay which also helps prevent clumping.

Have you noticed less insect activity since you started using neem cake?
I see a few here and there, but overall my outdoor plants have been spared.
And I know the little fuckers are out there because they are wiping out my brussel sprouts and tomatoes...

Not much but I live in a heavily wooded area so we live with a lot of critters. Plants green up and grow though.
