MojoGro soil question

Hey guys, first grow and this is the soil I started in http://mojogro.com/products/organic-potting-soil/ mixed it with ~35% perlite

Was an impulse buy, wondering if it was a bad choice because it holds so much moisture. Plants are seedlings in jiffy pots right now (another bad choice I think). Wondering if when I transplant I should switch soils? Will this hurt my plant to change to a different soil? Thanks !

Mojo works well adding to peat/perlite mix for indoor. It is a little to strong for jiffy pot rooting - unless you irrigate with water only for the first couple of weeks. I'm attaching a photo of Mojo at 30% to peat/perlite of 70%. Only straight water for first week. Subsequent weeks added only organic liquid fertilizer 3-1-1, at 125 ppm rate. The pictures are 3 1/2 weeks after transplanting a solo cup grown clone into a nursery #3 pot. mj grower 1.jpgmj grower 2.jpg
