Molasses, what is it good for?

molasses is deadly. ;-)

oh, and using it to grow is just silly. if you start with the proper soil you really don't need it. :bigjoint:

Using it to grow would be silly.

But using it to feed your alive and thriving organic microherd promotes its vigor. Thus giving the plants N, P, and K faster.

Are those Organic ?

I consider Molasses a Optional Organic only Additive.

Its only use being to feed a living organic microherd.

And feeding a Microherd makes it stronger so that you can get the most out of it. But if you just added more amendments at the start you would have a strong microherd anyway.

Its kinda like squeezing the last bit out of what you put in already.

yes, those are organic. you only need to add something if you are lacking it in the first place. :weed:

So many posts with such huge plants and such a narrow mind.
Quite frankly I really don't give a shit what you think bro as you dont grow organic in pots,
Have you ever tried it or researched the use of mollasses, can you unequivically say bullshit and actually know what you are talking about, I think not.
OK, now you can slag me off.

Molasses did wonders on my last grow. I only used it the last couple weeks though, but for this grow I am going to be using it through-out.

It seemed like the buds really put on some weight and kind of had a sparkle, but that could have just been my perception. The next morning, the entire grow room reeked of sweet candy though.

it seems to make buds fatten up near the end of flowering i only use it during flowering and only evert 3rd watering. and yes it does bring bugs gnats especially. in the summer i came home and there were like 20 house flys in the flower room shortly after using molasses but

fdd2blk,
Are you saying that the molasses doesn't do any good, or just that it is not necessary if the soil is mixed properly? Have you done any of your experiments with it? Just curious.

Just because you grow with only 2 products doesn't mean that everything else is bullshit. Although I would agree that most products are bullshit. But who am I to judge someone just because they want to experiment with different methods of growing, if it seems to make them happy?

Great final product, something to be proud of i'm sure.
I use molasses for the last six weeks of flowering every time and will continue to do so. I have not got the experience of fdd2blk to mix my own super soil but molasses has helped my grows and I produce big, heavy, great smelling buds every time so i'm pleased.
