Hey Busmike - I love your avitar! "Argent, a chevron gules, between three pheons sable.". Heraldry rocks!

Back to the subject - when you switch over to flowering you can kick the molasses up to 1 Tblspn. per gallon of water and increase that so you're adding 2 Tblspns. (or more) per gallon by the end.

My Hash Plant is in it's 6th week of flowering and I have been feeding it molasses (2 tbl to a gallon) every other watering . It perked my baby right up and added a nice shiny green color to the leaves. The best part, the buds are getting a lot of trichomes crystals and swelling up like a pregnant lady! I am using Brer Rabbit's unsulphured Molasses. I heard it helps the buds get 20% fatter from Jorge Cervantes grow book. Can't hurt the plant either. Hope this helps you out a little.

Consensus is one tablespoon per gallon in soil. Some use upto 2 tablespoons per gallon. By the way, replies to your post usually take more than 90 minutes to get answered. Patience is key both in the forum and growing. Goodluck w/ your grow!

I have just been reading up on molasses. I used it at the 1tbls. per gal and found the soil got a hard crust(from the sugar) had to keep turning the soil. just started adding 75-100 ppm's to my nute mix. It is way less then a tbls. Can't say for sure but it seems it is getting deeper into the soil.

i would think that you would'nt want "arses" to reply.. they may give bad advice..maybe they looked in your thread to see if there were any responses ..that would help them ..or answer they're question ...instead of making a similar thread to your's:idea:..:leaf:

The topic has many post on this site you can learn alot by searching them. In soil you want to use 2 table spoons disolved in luke warm water once a week during flower. Same 2 tablespoons per gallon for hydro once a week right before a res change. Don't over do it in soil either as it will cause mold and attract insects. You can use the black strap molasses like Grandmas or products like Sweet, sweet leaf, carbo load, or humbodlts gravity. The carbs from the natural sugars swell the buds and allow extra nutrient uptake making heavier sticker buds.

use 2 tbls/gal- trust me, my boy uses it all the time in his soil grows and gets jurassic-looking buds!!--look for yourself _www.youtube.com/medicalsourdiesel#2-he told me that he used blackstrap molasses and it made his buds greasy!

I hate to disagree with a guy thats been around as long as you Fletch. What reason would you gunk up your rez with someting that helps the microbes in the soil?? I used 1 tbls per in my last grow if I used two the pot would have been a chunk of sugar.
Molasses is not plant crack but it does help all soil grown plants or so I keep reading.

Yes it works wonders in soil.I dont recommend it for hydro but there are other alternatives that you can use if you are a hydro head:leaf:

Stumps guess you have never used sweet leaf, sweet, carbo load?? these are all derivitives of bl;ack strap molasses made for hydro. As I said you use 2 table spoons few days before the res change. The purpose of molasses is to boost the carbohydrates which yes all plants use soil and hydro. the only time you do not use it is in aero or fog ponics. You disolve the molasses in warm water then add to the res. It does nothing to gunk up your system and your changing the res in 2 days anyways. the added carb allow the plant to use its nutrients quicker and promotes the plants uptake. Its a proven hydro and soil method and has several dozen companys making thier own version. i have used it in hydro for about 12 years now and even tried to expirement with small amounts for aero. Yes aero will be a mess as the mist foams the molasses making a gummy foam. In hydro flood and drain or drip its fine and works excellent.

Maybe they hate when the same question gets asked over and over and KNOW that the poster hasn't bothered to look through some of the older posts first. Mollaces is one subject that is brought up at least once every 3 days and in 90 minutes, I'm sure you could of found your answer without putting the blame that someone else isn't jumping to help you out. Sort of like asking the old lady whats on TV when the TV guide is next to you and expecting her to stop cooking dinner for you, to come pull out the tv guide from under your feet on the coffee table and reading it to you. You have to expect a bit of silence before it gets done.
