Mold on my plant!! Help!

I dont know if this is some kind of mold or what, it is only on part of my smallest plant. i have 5 plants and all of them are perfect except for this one little ak47 plant that seems to have mold on it.

The mold looks like a white webby-ish kind of thing. Its in a small spot. Look for the big white blotch in the pics.

Idk what to do, the mold is on the crown of the plant where the main bud is. Should i chop off the part of the bud that is effected? Should i harvest this plant now?

HELP ME!!!!:wall:

Unfortunately it is bud mold. Might be a good idea to surgically remove the infected bud and dispose of it. Are your other plants ready to harvest. Just hope mold spores did not devlop there is a slight chance those spores may have travelled to your other gals.

I have no idea what it is, there are no pests in the room or anything. this is the only plant that has this mold or whatever it is on it.

Okay im gonna try and remove it now, but its on the top bud of the plant, it wont kill the plant right?

and i was hoping to harvest my other plants in august

Cut it off and slice it open at the moldy area. You want an idea of just how advanced it is into the core of the bud. If it's really deep, you have trouble. If it's not too deep, you might be okay, but def separate that plant.

bud rot starts in the center and works its way out, so once you see it.... its usually too late to fix

Okay right now the plant is out of the grow room, it is a small plant so it is not difficult to re-locate. Its in the bathroom right now away from my other plants.

There is only a sign of the bud mold on a single spot on the top most center bud on the plant, hopefully it has not effected the entire piece of bud yet. All other buds on the plant seem safe as of right now. Im going to remove the moldy part of the bud, dig in and see what im dealing with.

Once i do surgery on the plant and all moldy areas of the bud are gone, how can i insure that this plant still isnt a ticking time bomb still carrying spores?

How can i insure that this specific plant is safe to put back in my grow room.

The infected plant should be removed, at the very least, the areas with the powdery mildew, should be pruned. You can buy rosepride at HD,and mixed in water and sprayed thoroughly on your plants. This stuff can be used preventively as well. They have damp dry and other products, instead of a dehumidifier, that work great, and don't cost 200 bucks and use tons of electricity, but placed in your growing area suck out all the moisture and prevent this as well

What is the relative humidity in that room? I would suggest removing the entire top terminal bud. It won't kill the entire plant, the bottom buds will just fatten up more before harvest. It is a fairly common practice for some farmers to harvest the top of a plant, and give the bottoms another week or 2 to fatten up more before harvesting them.

That actually does not look too far advanced, but remove the entire bud, don't just dig out that section of the bud, and go over the rest of your plants top terminal buds with a fine tooth comb. The bigger and denser the bud, the more likely to get bud rot/mold, so it's usually only the top terminal buds that get it, and one of the reasons people like to top their plants and grow multiple smaller colas instead of 1 big donkey dick.

Does anyone know what that specific type of mold is called? Like it's scientific name? I have this same thing on my buds but it didn't show up until 6 days into drying...

I've also read about turning it to wax or hash as a way of killing off the mold, any opinions on that?

Okay i cut off the top bud and salvaged all the green that was unaffected and mold free. Here's a picture of what the plant looks like and the good bud that i am going to dry. I threw out the moldy shit.
