Despite the horses being jerks, how was the greenhouse working for you? I've been thinking about building one much like that for a few months. I might put a small compost pile in it to help with heating during the winter.
It was working great, mon was seeing alot of new growth and was very pleased. Mon is using 4 reptile heat lights and 4 florescent lights to keep em in veg and warmer at night. If the horses didn't mess it up they would be rocking, mon got the lights set from 9 pm to 9am by then the sun is hitting the greenhouse and it feels great inside and they get whatever sunlight til dark.

sorry your plants got messed with...
the news said that last night should be the last freeze...(norcal)
you might not need the greenhouse...
No prob not need in a while, but it does help keep the deer away, and believe it or not it also keeps the wild turkeys away.....Turkeys like to come and move the soil around in the pots, looking for tree frogs.... mon usually have a few tree frogs make home in the plants/pots during the summer when it is dry out. Mostly to protect from deer and other animals. plus it keeps lights nice an dry.

Greenhouses can work great, you just need something to bring heat up and down. 70 degrees outside could easily be 95 degrees inside. I got one a few weeks ago and plants are doing great, growing twice as fast. I highly recommend it. Havent flowered in it yet though.
