you know that feeling when you think about life and the future and how its all gonna be and you are kinda scared but again happy for what you have and give thanks for everything? this song gives me that feel. i fucking love it.

What up Monster would like your expertise opinion on my new setup I keep going back and forth about.........New flower area in my lab is going to be 9'wide by 44"deep, I cant decide on whether to go with 2 Lumatek 1k's with Blockbuster hoods air cooled or 3 Lumatek 600's with Super Sun 2 air cooled hoods or Blockbusters Air Cooled hoods. I currently have a 3x3 closet for flower with a old PL 1k in it so never used 600's to compare nug density/yield against 1k too....I keep reading conflicting opinions on whether 3 600's is more efficient/ better yield if not same than 2 1k's. You seem to know wtf your doing so I would greatly value your opinion. Thanks

Me personally, would go with the three 600's and if you can get the blockbuster hoods go with them, they're excellent, I use the yieldmaster II 6" hoods, but the blockbuster is just as good if not a better reflector.. that's absolutely going to be a perfect footprint for an area that's about 9x4. If you get the 6" blockbuster hoods you'll also want two 6" inline fans, both working on opposite sides of the tent sucking some air in and pushing that warm air out.

Ideally use Three Ushio Super HPS bulbs.. they produce a great wide spectrum without sacrificing lumens like a conversion bulb. & they also work fine on the Lumateks when you crank em up into Super Lumen mode.

monster i want to know what u think about this. letting my current crop go to seed, just leave one nice male. my next indoor harvest is in October and also my out door will be done around the same time. idk, i was kinda thinking about starting a seed company. if i let the females go to seed i can just make a shit ton of oil and smoke out door? i know i cant start a real company , but i could sell seeds 2 plp i know and at festivals. im kinda looking 2 use a dna sleestak male and crossing him 2 , grapefruitgodess, tahoeog, kandykush, bluedream, and also making sleekstak f2s.
photo(8).jpgedit: i killed the males, money is 2 green for seeds right now

Thanks for the quick response Monster....Alright so if I go with 3-600's your suggesting to have a 6" fan on the intake and outtake side of the cooling hoods? I have a 8" vortex not currently in use I was planning on using to cool these hoods, If I got the 3 blockbusters with 8" ports would this work fine pulling the fresh air through the hoods with the vortex and not having anything on the intake side also pushing through? My next question is this is going to be a sealed room and I'm planning on buying a CO2 generator the Green Air products CD-Electra-24-E-NG....Have you ever worked/heard about their products before I can't find many reviews or threads with people using them? I'm also installing a mini split, LG makes a 26seer 12k btu that is super efficient and quiet do you think 12k btu is adequate for my setup or should I go up to a 18k? It will only be cooling this flower room with the 3-air cooled 600's and a adjacent 6'x6' veg room/work room with about 432watt of t5 lighting. I obviously don't want it running all the time but don't want to go so big that it turns on for 2 min every hour. Can you also recommend a nice dehumidifier for my space? Sorry for all the questions and I really app appreciate you help and input. Thanks for the recemodation on the lamp I was just going to go with the Hortilux

Things are good.

I don't usually take Veg pics.. but all is well. Plants are in Smart Pots and doing quite well under HID lighting.

So far I have Identified 3 Timewreck females... including the Runt from the twins!! Also.. a Qush, a Strawberry Alien Kush, a Pandora's Box and an A13BX lady. Bad news is the Black Cherry and Lemon Larry x Snowlotus, all male I think. It's a little early to tell, but that's what it looks like. I only cracked 3 Timewreck seeds but because of the twins got 4 plants. I was almost sure the runt wasn't going to do too well, but she's thriving and although she's nice and short, I topped her and she has like 4 heads. I would be willing to bet the fourth Timewreck is a gal too. That'd be sweet to get 100% females on those. I think I'm gonna get it. TGA is the only seed company I know of that you can pop a 5 pack and get 6 or 7 females. lol.

I can't wait to bud these bitches out. Not sure when I'm gonna switch to bloom mode. I wanna get these gals a little bigger, make this run worth it.

Also.. my female to male ratio since using smartpots is higher. I think it has everything to do with it. My father and I both notice a pretty big difference in Veg with overall vigor and health using the fabric pots. This is my first run using all smartpots, also the first time using this soil mix of Just Right Xtra, Ocean Forest, and Perlite.
