That is a complex question. The short answer is no. In will not affect flowering .

I just happened to be outside and noticed even though it wasn't a full moon there are some very low clouds. Even though it's only a crescent moon the light from it was filtering through the low clouds making it seem bright.

Not if you don't go rabid under a full moon. Nature is in there genes. Peace.

smoke some reefer and take a step back. Gotta keep in mind weed has flowered outdoors for thousands of years no problem

If the moon isn't going to affect flowering, why do people panic about pin holes and light leaks indoor ? I'm an indoor grower and have wondered why the moon don't mess with them but a hole 0.010mm will make you think the whole room will hermie lol

It has to do with spectrum from what I decipher from articles I tried to read.

Most people freak out too much about light leaks honestly. Plants need a decent amount of direct light to perform photosynthesis.

If you’ve got a large leak with strong light constantly shining on a plant maybe you’ll have an issue. However minor amounts of low intensity or indirect light leaking in won’t cause issues.

I ran my last room with my flower room door part way open for years. It allowed air flow(and light) through a 18 inch gap at the bottom. None of the light directly hit the plants it bounced off the floor but the room was as bright as a full moon. Never had issues.

it would seem that moonlight does have a demonstrated positive/natural/necessary? effect on plant growth. reference the spectral chart and lunar phase plant response chart. i imagine a “moon light” system that replicates lunar spectral frequency at appropriate and natural light levels. perhaps even programmable to dim or brighten thus accurately simulating lunar phases. thoughts?

I know this isn't what you mean, but I'm curious if the buds get fatter under a full moon. There's a lot of old folk wisdom about how the moon affects plants and gardening, and I believe there's some research to back this up in the field of biodynamic farming. I wonder if harvesting when the moon is waxing, especially right before and during full moon, would provide stronger terpenes and fatter buds. Be interesting to experiment with this. I was going to harvest my last plan on Saturday (full moon) but ended up taking it down yesterday because the weather between now and the weekend is going to be awful.
