i doubt it, that costs huge money, on second thought you and i pay for that sooooooo..i dunno maybie.
im sure you can get a glimpse of the choppers the state troopers use on there website.
and i highly doubt its used statewide if its used at all, probably more like out toworads the berkshires, and western mass areas.

idk about mass., but a friend of mine from MI was caught with 127 plants on 80 acres about 5 years ago. I guess out there they hire independent companies that fly around with ultralight planes and do the checking that way. Just fyi.

I don't have a lot of experience, but I understand from the general consensus that they can't use FLIR unless they have a warrant. They won't just fly around bouncing FLIR all over the state.

Yes the state has it ,all do,its used at late night when rooftops cool off to see the heat from growlights, during the day they do flyovers using eyes and binoculars, pot stays green as the foliage around it turns colors in the fall.thats why they usually start in sept. Cause you can see the color difference already.also they target fresh water spots on public land. If there doing flyovers around your private land or using flir on your home chances are someone is ratting..peace redleg

Dea choppers are black hueghys while state is blue and white smaller helicopters..look under the nose for the spotlight[state] or oval like box [flir].

This goes back to "DON'T TELL ANYBODY YOU GROW." It's hard to spot a couple plants here and there regardless of the color. It's plots of several plants together, or huge 8 ft trees that get you busted. If you're smart you can avoid all of this. FLIR is the absolute last thing I'm worried about. Be wary of Jimmy down the street who you brag to about your grow. He's the one that gets you busted every time. I think it's funny when people show their girls next to their plant. 9 times out of 10 your pissed girlfriend will rat on you after a breakup.

Happy growing. And stay safe!!

you don't need any special equipment to spot a grow from the air. Only your eyes.
also true, but its xtremely hard when its 2 or 3 here and 2 or 3 there and away from fresh water and arond plants that stay green like stinging nettle...peace redleg
