southern Alberta here and just starting to see it. We’re use to it though. All the tree huggers in BC saved all the trees so they can be burned yearly. We had a wet spring though so not much happening this year. Let’s hope the weather changes.
can you say forest management. Say it slowly. Lol.

The smoke from Washington, California and Oregon are killing us up here in Canada too.

Here’s a shot this morning. Halfway up Vancouver island. Even last Tuesday it was so bad it was making me sick. Heartburn in my lungs is what it felt like. I’ve never seen it this bad before as this year.

Has nothing to do Years of below average snowpack and rainfall, or the fact that to go along with it we’ve have the hottest decade in history.
So yeah, let’s blame it on treehuggers!

Still Beautiful. Fire happens! Most of the Eagle Creek Fire was healthy burn, there are pretty large areas of severe burn, but it happens.
why don’t you think it’s as nice now?
Air quality.
Once that gets back to Oregon normal, it’ll be back to very nice.

If you live by trees then your at risk of forest fires.I know fire breaks arnt easy to do in a lot of areas but if you do nothing about it then eventually you’ll get burned.

Damn the sun is out and smoke is gone. My plant is basking in the much needed rays. It’s funny how we take the sun for granted until we start growing something.

Good to hear. I'm seeing an improvement in sunlight, but still quite hazy here in the East Bay area.

2020 has been a year of realization how much we take numerous things for granted in our day to day life. :eyesmoke:

It must be really bad out west. We had visible smoke in the sky this evening in Michigan. I hope nature puts it out soon.
It’s also holding temps down, it was forecast to be in the mid 80’s. We’ve been lucky to get to low 70’s
