more light in flower, 2nd hps or light mover

Right now I have too many plants, especially in flower. I think they need more light. My only flowering light is 600w hps. I do have another 600 in the veg tent (3x3x6) but it's dimmed to about 250 watts, as I need to slow the veg area down a bit since flowering is taking too damn long. There are 5 plants in veg, six in flower. They're both air cooled lights from a separate room for intake.

What I was thinking was either get a light mover for the flowering plants or move the 2nd hps to flower and boost it to full power/as needed. If moving the veg light to flower, obviously I would need a replacement light. If so was thinking of a lower wattage led, around 200 true watts or so.

I have 1 fan cooling lights and one for air extraction, both 440cfm, 6". Portable air conditioner keeping temps about 70-72, but humidity is around 70 also.... I have good air flow so my main concern is more light. However, I don't want to increase my electric bill much more. That's why I was contemplating an led or light mover to solve the light issue. What are your thoughts?

Reread. Veg=tent. Mover for flower.
How big is your flower tent? A mover would be a good investment if you have something like a 15x15 area or something, something small, you should just focus on training, and getting the best you can out of your canopy space.

I have the area open, no tent for flower. Everything is in a dedicated room. I have those in flower around a 4x4 floor area, but their spilling out to more like 5' or so, so more like 5x5 now. My 600w hps doesn't get everything well.

Correct me if I'm wrong:

You have an open space for flower and its footprint is 4x4. You're ladies outgrew that foot print by approximately 9 square feet.

Maybe buy a cheap LED to compensate for the bigger footprint. Then after you harvest use that LED in your veg tent and move the other HPS to flower?

Thanks for the idea. I'll either do that or take the time to move them around and get it done once and for all.
