More yield = less potency

Someone told me that if I stretched my ballsack for an hour a night, eventually I could wear it like a cape. Is that true? Sure, I expect ya'll to say hell no, but maybe someone is actually aware of why it's true or false. Don't say size depends on stretching skills, this is another conversation.
Well with tissue expanders you know we have some theoretical possibility but probably cheaper and quicker to just buy yourself a cape ;D but Clayton man you kill me.

As for the question he asked yield and potency are dependent upon the grower's skill, the environment experienced and the genetics. So there ya go.

sour diesel= high yield and high potency
Jack herer= high yield and high potency
Northern Lights= high yield and high potency

i can go on and on. you are confusing commercial strains with high yielding strains.

take it a step further, you have a few phenotypes of each of the strains you named above
the phenotypes that are the larger yielding can often produce less resin than the lower yielding phenotypes of the same strain
for many this would suggest they are more potent as highly resinous phenotypes are often kept as mothers

many of the clone only phenotypes that are kept are pretty low yielding high resinous selections of a strain

peace :)

I'm no expert, but it doesn't make sense on the face of it. It's not like there is a limited number of trichs to go around. As long as the plant has sufficient nutes for its size, it will grow potent buds.
Agreed, and more trichs can be force-induced without chemicals or other with the use of a specific spectrum of light that compliments the others one may have.

The exact opposite can be argued:

more yield = MORE potency

Yeah, that's right. When you know how to grow and you grow properly, you get MORE yield.

Well guess what else happens when you know how to grow and you grow properly?

MORE potency!

Crazy!
