I have 2 mothers that are looking bad. The leaves are curling under and drooping they are about 3ft each, they are very deep green. Is there a schedule that you can suggest to get them back on track. Should I give them just straight water for a couple of days? Right now they are on an 18/6 lighting, and food every other day at 850 ppm. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I do know they do not look very healthy. Any suggestions that might be able to help me would be greatly appreciated. growing them in soil, the strain is original haze. trying to get pics tomorrow

Thank you

Hey LJ....

Yes give them straight water.. but not for a couple days. JUST one big thorough watering... 2 gallons of 6.5 H ed water.. and then let them sit for 5-10 days...

I would also consider transplanting them into larger pots with a 50% perlite 50% soil mixture.... YES transplant them NOW.. :)

cheers

thanks guys, i have a r.o system and the water is neutral(at least my meter says so lol) i have now transplanted to 5 gallon buckets and just given them straight water.. i'll let then sit for a few days and see what happens, a friend told me to give them a shot of superthrive with the next watering but i'm not sure about this, so if you guys can tell me what you think about that i'd appreciate it....thanks in advance!!!

Superthrive is vitamin B1 and hormones, this is an excellent time to use it. Not too much, tho, that stuff is strong. Use 5 drops/gallon for rooting. I use 1 drop/gallon in all nute solutions.

Everyone said what to do but didnt say why. The plants are over fertilized more than likely. Leaves curling under is a sign. What kind of soil are you using? Have you checked the ph of it? If its not between 6-7 then then you will have to counter act with the ph of the water. I would do like everyone suggested with the flush. Then after a week or two I would start back with the nutes at half of what you have been feeding them. Let us know how it works out.
