mother in small cab?

im planning a small grow with cfl lighting and the cab i have will only be about 2.5' tall. is this too small to keep a mother plant in? im thinking of doing a SOG and having a small veg and a small flower box. i was just wondering that if i keep the mother under the light she will keep growing bigger and outgrow her home. will this happen?

with a little bit trimming and some EXPERT low stress training (LST), noticed i underlined expert, you might be able to pull it off. Keep in mind you need space for the light.
