Mother Plant Forming Seeds In Veg???

I have had my C99 mom for about 2yrs now. I have never had any issues with it, and it is definetly not an autoflowering strain. I went and checked on the plants last night and noticed that there is an almost fully formed seed at what would be a bud site if I were flowering.

The plant has been a little stressed lately and has a ton of preflowers on it, but it is under 18/6. My other three mothers are not doing any thing like this. They just look like your typical plants in veg.

I just harvested a few weeks back, my blueberry strain pops male flowers around week 6 everytime, but has never caused any problems with the flowering plants. And I didn't think it could cause an issue with plants in veg. I am guessing that some of the pollen from my blueberry made its way to my mother cab and landed on one of the preflowers. But I am at a loss as to how this plant created a seed when it is not in flower.

Does anyone have any idea as to why this plant is growing a seed while its still in veg? I have been growing for 5 years and have never had anything like this before.

Thanks,
Bob

Thanks for the reply.

I know for a fact its a seed. I am guessing about a week and the seed will be fully mature. It's already the size of a quality seed you would get from a breeder. I am confused lol.

Anyone else have any ideas??

Some strains just can't stay in veg forever, especially early finishing strains. But 2 years doesn't sound like an early finishing strain. Maybe it is retarded? I smoke Sour Diesel and get so retarded it takes me and 1 1/2 hours to watch 60 Minutes.

I think the simple explanation is that the pre-flower caught some of the pollen from your hermaphrodite & produced a seed.
Not the end of the world IMHO.

I'll try and get a pic of it up. I don't have a camera, but my g/f does. I'll try and snap a pic for you guys.

And I know its not the end of the world, it's just one of the weirdest things I've seen in my 5 years. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen. I didn't think it was possible for a plant in veg to be affected by pollen. I know they have pre flowers, but I didn't think it would have enough of the chemicals responsible for reproduction during an 18/6 light schedule.
