Mothers and Cloning

I understand how cloning works but my question is: How many clones can you take off a mother at one time without long term negative effects to the plant? And how tall should the mother be?

i take as many as i need/ are available from the mother, like 20-30 at one time, i know people that grow bigger plants and thus take more clones. Potentialy one can harvest an exponential number of clones as the number cut from the mother

you can chop a mother right down and leave like 4 or 5 nodes and still be fine its call reveging people do with a mom flower out and cut her down.
