Movies that scare the $h!t out of you

So it's that time of year again and thought this was appropriate. Has anyone seen any scary movies lately? Old or new. Preferably that one movie that you just can't stand to watch without someone else around you.


I have a problem with most of the current "horror" movies. I feel they just try to make it as gorey as possible and they're missing that truly frightening aspect. I need something that will keep me up at night...
