If you can meet someone working in a coffeeshop, you might be able to get a job there. Best job ever: Dealing legally. As for money, they take dollars and euros. I paid 60 euro for a hotel in downtown which is about 75 dollars. Buds are cheap.

Yea a job at a coffee shop or smart shop is what im looking for, as for inspiration of this move i visited about a month ago, my brother took me, i instantly fell in love, its just so simple, hardly any cars, legal ganja and shrooms, drinking, hookers, no fucked up government or corrupted leaders i just loved it, the fact that i never once saw a person walking/driving/riding while eating, because they were always chilled out MAKING time just to savor a meal, i mean its just great so yea, im there in about six months or so.

Lucky to be moving to Amsterdam. I've been there before for the 2003-04 New year's holiday. I loved it, you're exactly right.. life is much more laid back there. None of the drama that the U.S. is plagued with.

im from the uk and moving in 6 months also as im 17, in 6 months i am 18, and able to access £8.5k that my grandad left me. been growing here for 2 years now and fallen in love with bud, my plan is to rent a room, in a house. if you look on internet you can rent a small room, and have a communal living area which includes the bathroom, living room etc with other english people :D. This costs between 250 and 450 euros a month depending on location and size of what your getting. I cant wait. And living in the uk, its only like a hour away on the plane!

Well, I lived there for 3 years with some family friends of mine. Be sure and check out Vondelpark! It's beautiful bro.. absolutely beautiful. It's sort of like Central Park in New York. They've got a dog-park too somewhere.. not sure the name of it, as it wasn't there when I lived there.. but some friends said that they've built a nice one since I lived there with them. I could get the name and location of it for ya if you want.

I personally would suggest looking for a job at a bar (there's tons of them!) or even maybe try some of the 'Coffee Shops', they're usually hiring too. I personally worked at the 'Grashopper' bar. It's a beautiful bar man.. you should look it up on the web.. maybe they have some info on it. But yeah, I worked there for 2 months.. then had to quit because I only had 4 weeks left before I had to come back to the U.S.A. I think its located in Oudebrugsteeg, Binnenstad.. yeah, I think that was it.. but again, you may want to double check me on the name/location of the bar. I know its still there though... so again, I would highly recommend applying there. The people are really nice around that area.. its just a good place to work. Hell, if I didn't have to come back to the states because of personal issues?? Yeah, I'd still be over there working and enjoying my life. :|

But, I plan on going back one day.. not sure when though.. but one day, I'll be going back.. and won't be coming back to the states. The U.S. is going down to hell in a pink bucket IMO.. the economy is in the toilet.. we've got some oreo mix brainless fuck running this country.. and its not going to get any better any time soon. It'll at LEAST be another 10 years before things could get back to semi-normal for the U.S. - and that's if we get someone into office that knows what the fuck their doing.. someone that actually and truthfully cares for this country and its citizens!! Apparently Osama, I'm sorry.. Obama.. doesn't care about the U.S. - I think its because he doesn't have full American blood in him.. JMO though.

anyhow, yeah.. keep that information I gave to ya in this post.. I guarantee you could get a job at Grasshopper's bar & grille.

Good luck to ya

peace!
