Hey Johnboh when you thinking about going out?? I'm out east and was looking into it today. I'm sure as long as you get legal, it's easy to set up shop. I'm sure the landlords love people that pay rent .... which seems pretty high in boulder. Don't ya think??

Not sure, Id like to be out there sometime around early december. I have a big tour coming up in a couple of weeks, after that I am free to head out to colorado. Im in no rush but my girlfriend is waiting for me in Boulder.

Yea man, Ive been many times. My girl is in boulder, its a great place. Closest match i can find around here would be burlington vermont. The land is beautiful, people are great, they are nice! It is also a real transient state seems like most people are just passing threw or starting new lives. I hear ya on the harvest window. im projecting december for a move time but in all reality it would really be after the new year.

are you looking into moving to the boulder area?

yep .... the reason being is that my gf and i know someone out there ... but how about vt. How are the laws there... That's the one thing that's keeping me from packing up. It seems like ca and co are the only states that have a market for mmj.
Not that i'm in it for that purpose at all, but until a job is found...

Vermont is pretty laid back, I live super close to VT. MMJ laws on the other hard are tuff, its very hard to get a card. I believe there is under 500 cards in the whole state.

Maine is the place to be if your looking for a career in MMJ, they have great caregiver laws but its also like VT hard to get a card.

As im sure you know NH sucks!

you should check all the new laws before you move, there is no money to be made here :) you can not open a new dispensary untill 2011 and you must be a colorado resident for 2 years and pass a background check. you could work for one as long as you have no felonies but they don't pay very good :) and as a caregiver you can only have 5 patients and are not allowed to make a profit, can only sell your meds for what it cost to grow them.

They changed the law and made it harder for outsiders to get into it cause so many were coming

Im not looking to move to colorado to profit off of cannabusiness. Im making the move to be with my gf and to escape the hustle and bustle of the north east coast. All I am looking to do is take care of myself and be a caregiver for my gf.

Theres more money to be made outside of the medical states. Im more into the music business than into cannabusiness.

Hey Fellow East Coasters!
I grew up in the Baltimore/DC area. Been in the Denver area for close to 10 yrs now. Very different from East Coast. People are definitely more laid-back here in CO. Crime is low (I think). Housing is cheaper than most of the East Coast. Would recommend finding a place in county, not city. Wouldn't bring it up to your landlord you're growing, but most aren't going to care as long as rent is paid on time and if anything breaks - just call a repairman yourself. Take care of the outside, and landlord probably isn't going to care too much about checking up on the inside.

Now the bud scene here is dank. Much better and more abundant then what I've seen on the East Coast.

LOL Colorado is a great place to live. Now if you want to talk about hating yankess... try Texas. I lived there for 10 yrs.
