whats up. last thread got deleted so here we go. just doing bagseed, starting them under 4 T8 flouro bulbs, with the lights about a foot away from the plants to try to minimize any stretch. they will be inside for about 4 weeks or so then moved outside. they only just broke the soil 5 days ago, but i will be trying to give everyone weekly updates to let u know whats happening

How many you got there a fuckin thousand ?! next time consider jiffy pots in a bread crate wrapped in bird wire(rats) placed in a sunny spot(grass field) and you drive there every 2-3 days to water, it takes about 2-3 weeks they are already hardened off and you dont have all risk just sitting in your house. Also presoak jiffys prior to going there but dont plant the seeds till you get there, keep them in a small jar on your lap ready to throw out the window if cops are pulling you over, then you will only have the jiffys in your car. They take a little longer to germinate but grow better and healthier than under artificial lighting and you have little to no transplant shock.

I'm pulling up a chair as well. looks interesting. Where did you get that General Organics Ancient Forest at? Did you just pick it up at your local shop?

View attachment 2146355View attachment 2146354View attachment 2146352View attachment 2146349View attachment 2146356alright most of my plants are now 2 weeks in with a handful that are a week or so, another 2 weeks theyll be going outside.
if u look at the 1st two pics, the one seedling has 2 tops already growing on it, and the other has 3 leaves protruding from the center instead of 2. thought it was kinda cool

by the way its all bagseed, the majority of which came from some mids, although i have about 15 or so plants of what i grew last year which i know was nice bud, and also a few others from good weed that i only found two or three seeds in out of every bag i bought

trust me i wanted to, but im too low on funds, and i wont have a decent chunk of cash for awhile. and the way i see it i plan to keep enough weed to least me the year, in the neighborhood of 3-4 lbs, and sell anything extra, ppl in my area for the most part dnt have the slightest clue of what quality bud is, they dnt know about curing or anything, the bud i grew last year everyone was raving about and they were upset when it was gone, but the thing is i wasnt as happy with it as they were. i cured it, and everyone thought it was tasty, imo it was kinda harsh, any way, my point is that, if i go and order seeds, grow them harvest them and sell them, ppl arent gonna know the difference, than if i just grow bagseed. as i said there dumb, if it looks nice, smells good and has no seeds, they pay 50 an eighth all day. around christmas there was a kid selling premature wet weed 50 an eighth, not realy premee. maybe 2 weeks but noticable to me, and bc the bag stunk(as it was slightly wet) ppl think its super good, mind u it doesnt taste good and burns horribly. i cured my bud till the bud cracked good in the middle and burned nice, and then i hear ppl say its too dry, this kinda made me mad bc i wanted to try and do my best to have quality bud, and took the measures to do so, and some1 who has not a clue what there talking about says its to dry. it wasnt to dry i know that for sure. ppl like "sticky" weed for some reason under the notion that its good, true in some regards but with a proper dry and cure, only the center of the bud should be slightly sticky, my buds were super sticky at first until the cure. also if i were to order genetics, id want to have the place to mess with the genetics, or atleast pollenate a strain so i dnt have to worry about buying seeds of that strain for awhile

Looks great man Ill be watching, Hope youll be doing the Same!

Yea most townfolk dont have a clue when it comes to quality of the product. Specially those 30 year old dirt bags that have dont nothing but sell there whole life to bearly make it.(not only bud, pills, meth ect.). Ive seen some one literaly spray mexican swag with a water bottle and people freak out because how moist it is and how smelled the bag. People are fools when it comes to stuff like this. Last year I had a plant become endangered and i cut it about 3 weeks early and People were basicly begging me for me to sell it to them. It wasnt even dry I littary sold a zip and a half of wet tree. As in two hours after she was trimmed. 300 bones for what turned out to be what a half? Haha

P.s. Pro-mix? IM pretty sure that brand is only around the great lakes am i right? ;):hump:

i love to grow, but i also love to smoke, i can easily grow enough to last a year(no money spent on weed)and still have a bunch to sell, so ill make out both ways. i would have never tried to grow, and experience the love of something im truly passionate about, if i never smoked. y dnt u smoke? just curious as its strange for someone to be into to it when they dnt smoke or have never smoked.

Plants are looking good and lush Mr Marijuana420 :) I am a former Great Lakes area grower myself and it seems that your right on track for the areas timeline(at least from my experience.) I know you said its bagseed, but do you have any idea what kind of strain your working with? I always had great success with a NLx5 strain that I got from an old grower/breeder, also tried some hybrids from TGA Subcool's lineup in 2009(Querkel and Jillybean) but they didn't fair as well as my NL's.

I also started as a smoker and fell in love with the plant. My first time seeing a Hightimes magazine and seeing what the buds looked like that I loved smoking so much I was in love...
Haven't grow in a few years and won't be able to for a few more(career obligations) but I love this site and still try to stay informed on new growing techniques and seeing what works and what doesn't in the world of organics(its the only way I grow.)

Anyways brother, I'll be rooting for you this year, I hope everything goes your way and you have a happy harvest come October :)

Cheers, Dude.
