hello my brothas!! so sorry i haven't posted in a while, everything is great, and i truly appreciate the kind words...i ended up staying in the mountains for a few extra days...i've already chopped and dried some...the yield is gonna be less than i was hoping, but it's nice to have a variety of really nice dank...the northern lights and purple lady, along with the 2 super skunks, and hashberry are the only things left in the grow space...i'll put some pics up, also a run down of the yields...i've also sold some already to my buddies...it was an enjoyable grow, glad i did it, but next time i'm gonna have less plants under my 400....they were just packed too tight in there and none really got as thick as i was hoping...some were only a quarter, others a half oz, and a few more than that...i'm guessing around a qp total, maybe a bit more...the seeded rhino branches turned out great and i've already harvested 6 rhinoberry seeds, and i'm gonna get at least another 30, so thats cool....i'm already doin some planning for my next grow, i've got time for another small crop before i move in october, i'm thinking another autoflowering run...diesel ryder again, i'm gonna order some white dwarf and sum easy ryder(auto ak47)...prob 2 of each, 6 plants total, all in 3 gal pots...that way they'll have room to get nice and juicy and it'll only take 65 days! i love harvest time, i've been soo baked for days on sciossor hash, iso hash and fresh nuggets!
i'll be around 2morrow with more....

Ya had me worried man... Had not heard from ya in a bit, glad ya had a good time in the mountians.

If your going to order seeds do it quick like. The other option if your happy with the skunks and hashberry would be to only harvest 3/4th of those plants leaving enough on them to survive. Then switch the lights to a 18/6 cycle, buy yourself some starter plugs and a clone gell or root tone (the powders last years longer than the gells do) In a couple of weeks the 3/4th harvested plants will be sprouting all kinds of new vegitation and you can then take cuttings to make clones with then harvest the rest of the old plants.

Keep the cuttings covered with a see-through "humidity dome" (an upside down fish tank works or can build or buy one) Your clones will need to be kept more humid and warmer than for normal growth( a couple degrees warmer and as himid as possible by spraying them daily). I would make extra clones like double or even tripple what you want to bloom. When you have mastered it you wont need to make as many extra ones, I have been doing it for a while now and I am somewhere arround 90% successfully cloned. Do a slew of them on your first try under multiple domes if needed if your thumb is green enough you should have plenty of extra plants you could give to friends or take a walk through the woods with them or something...

Cloneing then vegging those clones for 2 to 3 weeks would let you start your bloom in the 1st or 2nd week
of July and harvesting in mid to late September. This would totally out do the yield of any auto flowering strain and is still well with in your time frame. Even if your dead set on odering auto flower seeds you should atleast give regeneration and cloneing a shot, all its going to cost ya is a few extra bucks for what I mentioned above and if your 1st attempt at cloneing bombs ya still did oder those seeds.

Not that I have anything agnist autoflowering strains or anything. My opinion is that they are cool to play with in your veg room giving a bonus strain/taste over your normal crop. They are also very nice for outdoor growers allowing you to plant a few seeds every week for the whole season to stagger and hide your harvest rather nicely. That quicker seed to harvest time comes with a rather harsh loss in yield and you most certianlly will get a better yield in nearly the same time frame by regenerating then cloneing the 3 females you got left. Your time frame/turn over rate would be even quicker with 2 rooms of course but I would still bet my last dollar that even being limited to 1 room I could still regenerate/clone then bloom in that time frame and get nearly double the yield I would have on a batch of autoflowers.

sorry to worry ya my friend...just had to take some time off from the online world...that is a good idea, if i was happy with the skunks and hashberry, but i'm not! the skunks are leggy, and look to be the least dank of all my plants, and the lone hashberry female is a mutant and has never done that well...so i just wanna fresh round...i might start 5 diesel ryders now, cull out the males till the rest of the seeds arrive...if done in big containers, at least 3 gal, auto's can get pretty large..so if i have 6 big fat ladies, they could easily do 6 ozs, prob 7-8, and i'm fine with that...

Really Your Super Skunks didn't turn out all that great???? Mine turned out AWESOME, dank as fuck

Just to clairify something, what i ment with "if your happy with" was the taste/buzz. To be fair to those two strains you must go by taste/buzz not factoring much about how they grew because you grew them 12/12 from seed. A clone of said plant thats had some veg time could/should very well turn out better growth wise.

Plant your seeds as planned but spend the extra $20 on some cloneing gell and starter plugs and atleast attempt to make a few clones. Its good cheap practice and ya allready got "mother" plants to start from.

thanks alot mystic, i can't wait to grow the rhinoberry, looks like some super dank! and MJ, i can't say what i think of the super skunk's yet, they've got another week, maybe more...i just don't like how leggy they are, but their starting to put on some crystals....and Syrius, i really appreciate the advice, but i don't think i'm gonna do any cloning this go round...i wanna clean up the grow area, so when the skunk's are done i'm gonna remove everything and give it a deep clean...so auto's will be the next round, and that's if i convice my lady to do another grow, haha, she'll come around...

I've been averaging an oz per plant with my LR2's under a 250 hps for awhile now, so that's attainable gkn. Now I've got 2 400 watters going so hopefully that average will go up. I saw that you mentioned you are thinking about White Dwarf and Easyryders along with your Diesels. I just grew out some white dwarfs and my experience was 3 of 4 popped, pretty much no side branching, and they yielded a little under a half each. I have one more going (so 4 out of 5 popped), that will be done in about 3 weeks and seems to be following the same traits. I also have some Easyryders going but they're only 2 1/2 weeks old so not much to say about them yet except that 11 out of 15 germed. I'm not sure if this is the reason or not but 2 out of the 3 packs that I ordered still had the title 'Lowryder2 X AK 47' on them and one had the 'Easyryder' name on it so....I don't know. I am excited to see how they turn out though. I also have been growing Afghan Kush Ryder by World of Seeds and I have to say don't order these if you were at all thinking about it. Out of the 7 fem seeds I received, 5 popped, 2 of the 5 were males, and the other 3 had been growing for around 70 days without autoflowering. They also didn't show sex until about a month after starting them. They were not stressed at all, they are actually very healthy looking plants but definitely not autos. I have looked around on the internet it seems that others are experiencing the same thing. I sent an email to Attitude letting them know about it, and that they may want to contact WOS to figure things out so customers aren't mad at them(attitude).

tru that chunkey, that's for the heads up and great info! i can't wait to add more lights, one day, i'm thinking another 400, or maybe a 600...yeah, just thinking bout the white dwarfs, i saw on ICmag, dudes were saying they pack on the crystals more than any auto they'd seen, how's the smoke?? so maybe on those, and then i'm forsure gonna grab some some Easy Ryders, i hear nothing but positive bout these little plants, i saw some in high times that were just monsters, with oz sized colas! i already have 10 diesel beans, so i'm gonna go ahead and germ 5, and see what i get...last time i only had 4 females out of 10, which is low for me, but i hear auto's produce more males...i just wanna do 5 or 6 plants so they can get nice and big, like my last run...i'm glad i don't really care about yields, ahah, with 4 diesel ryder's i got round 5 ozs, and with this 12/12 from seed business i'm gettin under a qp! no worries though....i absolutly love the diesel's, they grow fast and finish in a flash, and the potency isn't lacking in the slightest...i'm forsure gonna pollinate an entire female, i want lots of seeds to give to friends and throw outside!

I once left the 3 best males in my veg room allong with 4 autoflowering females allong side my NYCD clones in veg. This gave me prolly a thousand seeds or more, 1 small auto flowering female fully polinated should be good for a couple hundred seeds or so. You should have plenty of beans to play with. I have no idea how it happened but I also had 1 of my NYCD females throw a few seeds. I never grew those seeds so no idea if it happened from old male autoflowering pollen hanging arround but the plants were moved to the bloom room so they wernt flowering at all while in the veg room that was dirty with pollen.

With a thousand seeds the small handfull of seeds my NYCD female threw away or stuffed into a bag with the herb. Here is where I really got to love the autoflowers though, because I took those seeds and planted a dozen or more seeds every week untill the end of August. The autoflowers are just so nice to be able to plant new seeds on the same day your harvesting a differant set of plants, nothing is more cooler than that. For me they were extreemly nice for outdoor growing. I had done plants like whitewidow or big bud outdoors without nearly the succes I had with the autoflowers. I just had alot better luck recovering my harvest from the autoflowers primarly because of the staggered planting they allow. I would start my planting and about a week before they were ready to harvest I planted more seeds right under them. Now the 1st thing anyone is going to do when they find/reconize a plant growing is to look for more, I never planted more than 3 to 5 in a single spot but if someone was to spend the time looking arround they would find more of my spots. I once lost 50+ whitewidows a week from harvest simply because some other stoner "got lucky" and harvested them for me a week early. That kind of thing just sucks and the staggering ability the autoflowers provide is excellent here. If someone found the 12 seeds I planted 2 months prior and the plants went missing it pretty much ended there and they didnt notice or find the other hundred or more that were smaller and not as noticable because they were planted later. I once had 3 autoflowers that were harvestable and there were also 4 or 5 babys growing right under them. Some other pothead found them and cut down and stole the finished plants. Then 2 months later I harvested all of those babys that were left there when the others were taken. So the person that found them negelected the baby plants either not realizing that they were autoflowers or they got too stoned and forgot to go back for them when they were done.

haha, good stuff Syr....a couple hundred seeds sounds phenomenal, i'm doin that forsure...i've never grown a crop under the sun in my life, but i'm dying to try!! what's the yields like with auto's outdoors, still an oz or more like 2-3?? i've now got some nice spots where i can throw some of the little bastards, should be fun...

The smoke is definitely good as far as the buzz goes, and they are definitely packed with crystals. As far as weight, it might have just been a phenotype because mine didn't have much side-branching and I saw someone on here who's plant had quite a bit. His also yielded 31 grams for one, and the other yielded 41 so don't let my one opinion decide yours. I saw those Easyryders in that High Times too, that's what pushed me over the edge to buy them. I mean look at how good Lowlife's auto AK does, and that's AK47 crossed with regular Lowryder. Since Lowryder 2 is a heavier yielder than the original I wonder how well it will do. The same guy that I just mentioned above with the White Dwarfs, also grew Lowlife's auto AK and averaged 76 grams per plant.

I usually just pollinate a couple of the lower bud sites on my Lowryder 2's and I end up with around 50, but I'd imagine you probably would get a couple of hundred if you did a whole plant. About growing outside, I can't imagine how great it would be to grow a bunch of auto's outside. I say go for it if you can.

damn, i'd love to get 76 grams from one auto...i bet all those auto ak's do quite well, but it does depend on the pheno...i had some diesel ryder's do 40 grams and then 2 others that were less than an oz...i'm gonna do 3 of each, diesel, white dwarf and easy ryder and then maybe pollinate a couple with male diesel ryder pollen....i wonder what that would make?? a fem white dwarf crossed with diesel ryder and easy ryder x diesel, sounds wonderful to me! once i have hundreds of seeds made, i've got several outdoor locations i can put groups of 10, so that'll be fun....

Hard for me to give exact amounts of yield for when I did autos outside. I can say for sure the yield was much better than indoors. The staggered planting defentlly made some plants better yielders than others but if I were to have to make a guess I would say 1 to 4 oz per plant and yeah it varried atleast that much.

good stuff, i can't wait to plant a bunch outside, gonna be awesome! i might try a few in really large containers, maybe 5 gal, see what happens...
