I believe thats a form of rosecomb, which typically occurs if the mycelium or mushrooms are exposed to petroleum products, lysol etc. I have seen some wicked rosecomb where the gills were inside out and looked like a mouth from a guy spraying lysol around his tubs once.

Pretty interesting monotub design. Looks like they are getting A LOT of Fresh air exchange due to how small they are. You can get them bigger by using smaller holes and allowing less fae. A little C02 will make them taller. Unless this is just a particular strain that has small genetics.

Yeah these are PES Hawaiians which are genetically small if I am not mistaken.


Also I think you're right about the rose comb. The only thing I think that might have fallen on it was maybe bod spray might of gotten on it somehow. That's really the only thing I can think of as I don't use lysol or cleaners around my grow area.
