Those 1k de lights are going to give you even tighter hard packed buds than the 600s, hence why your seeing some issues with rot. When i grow stardawg its almost impossible to have no bud rot per crop as the nodes are spaced so close and tight the buds are extremely dense. Ive had buds get rot sitting right in front of a stand fan.
So what do you do to prevent? Im curious as Im sure I will run into this sooner than later. Is there organic sprays or anything?

To prevent you run cultivars which arent so dense and hold so much water. And keep the air circulating at optimal levels all the time. Once its there anything to change the PH of the leaf surface, either acidic or alkaline, milk/water lemon juice/water will keep it at bay till chop

To control powdery mildew on plants, mix together:
  1. 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
  2. ½ teaspoon of liquid soap. (you could use something similar to dr bronners)
  3. 1 gallon of water.
I will keep that in mind. Just did a quick weigh on the cookies kush wet it whet 4161 grams so just over 9 lbs wet

We're talking about bud rot tho not powdery mildew, once your got rot there's nothing you can do, sprays will only make more rot.

This is nice growing as said earlier but did not realize what pgr was and does. Don't you feel some level of something knowing other people are going to smoke this?.

It's so disheartening to know governments allow this stuff to be used on normal trees, grass etc. We don't eat the trees and grass sure (drugs aside) but many living creatures do. Also animals that move with the seasons will feed on something that does. They don't know the effects or mutations this shit could create at any point of contact nor if it would stay contained. Just baffles me why civilized governments knowingly and directly risk fucking with the order of life for something as shallow as convenience and money.

Because our governments are run by monied interests for the purpose of making (them) more money, to the exclusion of non monetary or unprofitable goals. Until that changes, we can expect much more of this kind of short-sighted stupidity.

If there's a cheaper easier way to do it 9/10 people will take the shortcut. Even with/out knowing what the consequences will be. All these rules and systems were created by those in power and were designed solely to keep them in that throne of power. I know it sucks that PGR is abused and a lot of people are just waking up and realizing the harms it can cause on consumable product. "But it doubles my bud weight and cash flow..." This is true capitalism and just like any manufacturers, if it makes more than it costs in legal fees then it works. Sad, dad days.
