Well, kind of. I need to keep some clones as small as possible for the next 6 weeks.

So my White Widow grow is proving to be a very nice and resilient pheno and I'm still waiting for my next round of seeds to arrive (if they make it) so I made some clones.

Problem is that I have another 4-5 weeks of the white widow grow left in my 2x2 which has pretty much filled the whole scrog screen, I've been putting the clones in the bottom of the tent (under the jungle canopy) overnight and then moving them to my windowsill during the day to make sure they don't go into flower.

Does anybody have any strategies for keeping these little girls small?

The only thing I've done so far is chop off the fan leaves as they come up and hopefully stunt them a little.

My best trick so far has been lst...
I usually set an 'anchor' wire and the another taped to the side of the pot to bend the top over-
If you have time to tend (and space), you can have many more main colas without major stress to the girls :)
Sometimes I use a chopstick or 2 for propping and bending around
Not only do you buy time, you can make monsters :)))

Different plants in these pix, but both pix of single plants :)

I'm gonna be in the same situation in a few weeks. Going to keep some clones in a limited space situation (closet). My plan is to use small containers for the clone (on my case, 2x2 rockwool or solo cup). While my main plants are flowering, I'll keep the clones as single colas (as much as possible) and keep pruning the roots to keep it small. In a week or 2 before I cut the main plants, I'll move the clones to 4x4 rockwool and top it for the first time, just to make them root and get used to a bigger rockwool.

Basically, making bonsai of clones.

It sucks when you don't have the space. Hopefully, in the next few months my state is going legal, medically at least.

:peace:

Temps below 65 and less light is all you need, just enough light to keep them alive, they will still grow but not significantly.

This is from experience with Pure Power Plant clones, same situation as yours but I can't be sure if it was just strain dependent.

I'm in the same situation with my mother plants. I usually just take 3-5 clones when she's getting too big (I just keep 1)...every once in a while I time it right:blsmoke: and just put her straight into the flower room.

I have recently becan to constantly top my clones and plants in veg. This helps me due to my small and short veg area. Makes them bushy as hell but that I can handle.
