1. Are the AG nutes okay to use? I live in an area where you can't buy or find hydroponic fertilizers or accessories (or even a system for that matter!). And mail order is out. Basically I'm stuck with the AG nutes or something you might find at your local nursery or garden centre.

2. How often should I use the AG nutes and what size to use? When the plants are bigger do you use the bigger tablets or do you use the big ones all along? The system says for tomatoes you should use two large ones from the start and adding every two weeks as it grows - no matter the size.

3. As I understand it I need to supplement the lighting with three additional 26W bulbs at 1700 lumens each or two additional 42W bulbs at 2700 lumens each. Is this correct or are different lights required at different times for veg and flower growth?

4. Does putting tin foil up in the cabinet help?

5. Once the veg state starts when should you switch to 12 hour days? Or put another way how high should my plant be before I switch to 12 hours? The canopy goes up 24 inches but the top of the cabinet is around 48 inches.

6. Should I use a trellis at all or bend them to get more light when flowering?

7. I'm going to purchase an air pump and stone on Wednesday, but is it essential to do a water change and how often? How do the nutes keep up or stay to provide proper fertilization for the plant?

8. Speaking of water, is it okay to use Brita filtered water? Not everyone can afford Poland Spring and spring water!

9. Any other information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the awesome posts and information. Look forward to hearing back!

A1 Yes the ag nutes work, they are at the perfect ph level of 6, plus i usually add in some dnf part a and b to the mix.

A2 i use 2 tabs for 1 week, i change my rez once a week. i would follow the nut chart that ag has given, if you do not know much about growing nutrients.

A3ok for vegging 6400 k is the best 2700 k for flower , but you can use either it all depends on you, just might take longer with the 2700k bulbs vegging

A4 Tin foil is not good it cause's heat pockets, use mylar

A5 well that all depends on you really, just remember when you start 12 n 12 your plant will double in height by the end

A6 if you have the right light you wont have to do any bending or lsting at all, but if you were into doing stuff like that, i would look up lsting!(low stress training)

A7 air pump and stone excellent!! i would change your water every week or week and a half, you add your ag tabs and whatever else you add to it everytime you refill your rez

A8 i think brita water should be ok never used it before shouldnt be any different then the stuff in water bottles

If I have 3 fems outside that are in their late stages of flowering how can I clone them to be in the AG? Where/What do I cut to transplant into the grow pod?
ok so your 3 fems out side will grow you femed clones, as for growing them in the ag i wouldnt personaly do that, i would just make a cloner box or go buy one. you would cut branches off of your plants add rooting gel or powder to them and put them in a cloner box. go and look up cloning process it is very important to do it right!
Also: Does cloning that plant ensure you will get a fem for the next round?
you will get a fem or a hermie
Finally: How long will it take to clone? Is it better to go from seed?
