very strong lines and lots to look at. what the art teacher calls busy seems to be your signature style and in my opinion it works. your art draws your eye in and around like any of the "rule of threes" by-the-book art.

if you're looking for real critique (the kind that will improve your work) consider finding some artists who artwork you admire and see if they'll give you some time and tips.

whatever you do - please continue making art!
i've used all my rep - but you're on the list.

wat do u mean by rep? and list?
you can give people "reputation" points if you like their posts or them. The idea is someone with more "rep" would be more likely to be giving good advice and should be trusted more than someone without a lot of rep points. But you can only allocate so many points per day and I was out but you are on my "people to give rep points to" list.

does that answer your question?

The second one is my favorite, love the expression on his face and the prominent brow.
Some very abstract ideas there, like them. Email, how do you give ppl rep, because I'm overdue to give you some for your excellent post's buddy.

every post has the day and time in the upper left hand corner.
In the right hand corner, there are three items: the post number, a scales icon, and two exclamation points (!!). If you click on the scales (the center one), a dialog box will appear so you can type in who you are and why you're giving the rep.

This is important, you have to click the scales on the post of someone who you want to rep - otherwise you may not be giving it to the person you want to.

does that make sense?

Hey Exzile have you ever heard of Salvador Dali. He's a painter and his work reminds me of your work. Google his name and you will be amazed at the stuff he produces. I think
he died about 12 years ago I'm not sure.

every time i hear his name i remember a short film of him tugging repeatedly on one side of his mustache will the soundtrack repeated the name of the school of art he was part of over and over and over - in time with the tugging:
da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da

DADA!

Your work looks like Salvatore Dali, on speed. Of course he used colors and you use pen and ink. Dali never did use speed. He liked acid, which I do not recommend you try.

I don't like surreal very much, but you have a flair. Some of your work looks rushed, as apposed to being in a rush. I suggest you take more time with your composition and refine your technique. The monochromatic thing (pen & ink) really works for you. Try doing the head again and alter the theme some and improve on the presentation. Dali (and others) used the same themes in different settings all the time. That may work for you. Or it may not work. But, you should try it.

Good luck,
MB

ps, Almost forgot, copyrite your work. For an artist it is simple. Check the rules on the internet. Do this right away, before some excretus-cranius steals your stuff. Like the smiley face pictures used here were stolen from the ORIGINAL artist. Once the art is out without a copyright, anyone can claim it for use.
