Hi growerz!
Im living near the Malay border with Thailand, hence we get 12 hrs sun/12 hrs dark, all yr round. The only change in this is two monsoon seasons,oct-dec and march-june.They can be severe (crazy weather) or can get lucky.Ive been lucky with my wet season grow,as we havent had one yet!!sshhhh!
I bring my mothers in at 6pm when it gets dark, and put them under cfls till 12pm.This stopping them flowering. My Mothers are: AMS, greenhouse:The Church, greenhouse;Frisian Dew,:(masters at work):Wild Thai(world of seeds:
Ive been growing this method for a few yrs,but since i joined RIU i have improved my harvest each time, especially my clone rates, with excellent Weed botanical information,.
I clone each plant every 3 weeks, usually 6-8 off each one.
These pics are from just being cloned to the 4th week of flower, plus the Mums extra light house.
First effort of a grow journal so ive probably written too much, new to it.
The green sheets are rain shelters!2 weeks flowering 003.jpg4 weeks flower outdoor 008.jpg018.jpgplants houses, and Tommy 038.jpg2 weeks flowering 012.jpg024.jpg2 weeks flowering 007.jpg002.jpg4 weeks flower outdoor 011.jpg4 weeks flower outdoor 006.jpg4 weeks flower outdoor 005.jpg4 weeks flower outdoor 005.jpgplants houses, and Tommy 035.jpg016.jpg020.jpg4 weeks flower outdoor 004.jpg4 weeks flower outdoor 001.jpg2 weeks flowering 011.jpgplants houses, and Tommy 034.jpgplants houses, and Tommy 006.jpg

Hi,
No shes good...nice plant,,,taste good,,,med harvest,,clones very well...
Im living where its very humid all yr round so use strains fairly good with humid weather........I always grow (world of seeds Wild Thai) cannot reccomend it enough,,super soaring Sativa high, delicious,so many trich sites.Only down is she flowers for about 11 weeks, for me anyway, they say 9-10,always let Sativa go a few extra days, all amber,,,best high ever...
Frisian Dew is a good tasteing stoney hit, well worth growing..............B.

thanks,
a lot of work but well worth it..im starting my new mothers again now for dry season grow, always get aboutishy 20-30% more harvest in dry grow for obvious reasons ,but still worth risking a wet season grow....Im getting some great seeds sent over xmass time,so im gonna try do a step by step grow thread,so people can see that living in equatorial,or basically living in a 12/12 light dark environment can be very rewarding,,,especially cloning,,good humidity for cloning,,,,not so good for bud rot,,i lost about 6 clones out of 40 from rot,and had to cut the colas off 4 more...but hey,,,,the things we do for love....Thanks again sso...........B

i got the opposite, lackluster growth even in full summer but sure do never have to worry about budrot.

(basically i need a lamp to grow lol (well, i could grow lettuce and stuff like that lol) (oh im in iceland)

You mention slow drying is best, and thats true enough.Sometimes here im taking 2 weeks for slight king in stem to 4 weeks till it snaps.I hang em up a week, then alternate days in jar for a week, then leave in jar and open lid about 2-6 hrs a day for 2 weeks and im usually still a cupla weeks away,..........but when they eventually lose that moisture after curing they can fell trees!!Mostly sativa strain or dominant strains i love to leave till all the trichs are real amber and cut her........5. weeks later,,,,ive seen her make grown men cry and women have babies!!!!......no shit!......................B.

nice! :)

yeah..hehehe ive been close to where you are at (vietnam) though i was a few hours in tailand lol stopover.

and i can believe that drying time! :)

totally different here, near desert humidity (well, chapped lips territory anyway :))

i can dry a bud in 3 days if i so wish, lol (i dont)

usually just stuff it all into a cabinet, all that amount in such a small space, keeps the humidity up and the drying slow (er) (2 weeks tops though)

To be honest,it takes 4 weeks now,wet season, although not too bad.....yet..so takes 4-5 weeks wet season, and 3-4 weeks in dry season.....as you know.the humidity...it doesnt have to be rainy to be humid,,so sometimes it friggin kills me!! its 40% degrees outside,no rain, hasnt rained for 3 months...humidity 75 90%...no shit,,so putting in the sun is a no no,shouldnt point fans on em because it does ALMOST nothing,so hang, paper bag sometimes for a week, then do the jar lid thing, cupla hours off a day.....Used to grow in Perth Western Australia,,its a dessert ,,,,drying was not a problem....burning or clogging the chlorophyl in would be a real problem, could take maybe 6 weeks to cure to rehydrate and dry again........i grew a easy sativa along the floor of a friends gardening centre,it grew hehind all the plants,,pot lying on side....that plant grew about 4 mtrs....no shit.....and side branches i super cropped,(i do prefer to say bend).....
