Morning rollers! The week before last, I came home to my greenhouse after a 5 day absence to find a towering Purple power had shown its sex and was in fact a male. One of the Sacks had opened & there were at least 10 more sites where male flowers had started to rear their ugly faces. I bagged, & chopped down all 7 feet & removed him from my greenhouse. The Problem... he had sprayed at least one of the big beautiful Kolas on my Auto Joc. this kola was closest to the male & in direct pathway of the fan. Yesterday I popped out 2 seeds from this Kola. I checked the other 6 and while they don't seem to have any evidence of seed development and this happened late in the flowering cycle. Here is the questions....... My tricombs are starting to turn milky but no amber heads, Im just about to the end of the recommended flowering cycle. should I cut my losses & get this girl into drying or should I let her mature for a while at the risk of more energy being diverted into seed production. I'll try to get the camera out for some tricomb picks. thanks for your opinions!

wait it out like said - you'll just get some seed in that one if nothing else got polinated. Worse case - they all got polinated and you'll have seeds in it. If only a couple weeks from cut-down - they won't get to mature or develop much.

Thanks, I'm just not clear on " if there is enough of a diversions of energy from Tricomb/ Resin production, to seed production, that would outweigh the benefit of continuing to let it grow. Can you see the new development where almost everything is almost finished? Am I at a point where my plant is done creating additional medicine and diverting all of its energy to seed production? Ill post more images in my follow up post.DSC_4133.jpg

It looks close to being done.. I didn't know the hairs were browning. You got a scope? If so check out the trichomes

Hey BSD. Thanks for the opinion... She is milky white with no amber tricombs. Im just afraid that the late pollination will keep her from continuing to finish.
