I am growing in a laundry hamper with 3 23w (100w equiv) CFLs. A few days ago I noticed a few brown spots on the lower leaves. Then I noticed the top leaves begining to yellow. In order to not overwater I have not watered my plant in two days. I come check on it this morning and notice the soil is retracted from the edges of the pot and pretty dry (it does get kind of hot in the laundry hamper, as it is not ventilated and simply covered at the top with a shirt to keep light in).

I don't know if I made the right move or not, but I moved it immediatly outside into natural light and watered. Is my problem a result of underwatering, heat, a lack of ventilation, overlighting (i doubt it), or the fact that I have never fed the plant (I did plant in miracle grow soil which I assume has some nutrients in it).

Can this plant be saved? Did I make the right move in moving it outside or will the switch from 24hr light to natural shock the plant? What steps should I take??
